NUDAE Coffee — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

( NO LONGER AVAILABLE!) Blueberry Matcha - must have. I know it may be seasonal or something but honestly, so good. Coffee Dose made something similar and we miss it but we stumbled upon Nudae and their Blueberry Matcha, and SHIZ IS GOOD! Highly recommend ( NO LONGER AVAILABLE!)

Second visit - strawberry matcha. Honestly way better than I expected and definitely better than a lot of places I have tried. The color was really clean, the flavor was on point, and the little strawberries they put on top were a nice touch. Just made it look and taste that much better. I was originally going to get the blueberry matcha and it broke my heart a little when they told me they do not have it anymore. Lowkey the strawberry did not fully make up for it but it was still good and I would definitely recommend it if you are stopping by. Went here for the first time today and it’s super cute! Love the outdoor space for a relaxing time with friends and the indoor space is calm if you’re alone or studying. Their design is right up my alley! Staff is friendly and my iced vanilla latte is great!

Update: I went here again the other day but I noticed they changed the furniture in the interior. It might not seem like that bad but it previously only had a few small round tables which made the shop feel my homey and local. Now they have bulky tables that are squeezed together which makes it feel like they’re trying to squeeze as much seating. I suppose this makes sense for them because they want more seating for customers but i feel that it ruins a little bit of the design/atmosphere. Still a good coffee...

Super friendly staff, quick coffees, generously portioned food, family and dog oriented, and great music for upbeat energy. They get really busy around 9am and tables fill up quickly as it’s a small place, but worth the wait!

So far I’ve had the special nourish bowl and burrito. They have some incredible homemade sauces - it’s so tasty, especially in their sunrise burrito. It’s piping hot and cheesy wrapped up in an out of this world cilantro sauce??? Would have loved the hashbrowns to be crispier but still so good and filling. A must try.

Aside from all the technical stuff, what I really enjoy seeing is how family forward it is. I’ve seen young families come and go all morning and regulars are greeted by first name. Feels like a great community is...
