From the moment I stepped into Pom Olive in Costa Mesa, I knew I was in for a treat. This gem of a restaurant offers a culinary journey that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving for more.

Really disappointed with Pom & Olive.

I have been coming here for a little more than a year now since I randomly walked in there charging my Tesla one day.

The food was good and the old gentleman and his wife were very warm and welcoming.

Today I walked in while charging my Tesla and needed to use the restroom, I’m not sure if it was the same old lady but today it was not warm and it was not welcoming, I was treated terribly.

I waved when I walked in and walked into the bathroom the lady yelled at me and said do I have an order, I said no I don’t but then she said I couldn’t use either restroom because “cleaning” but no one was cleaning and then when I pressed further she said I would have to wait 10 minutes. So, I started to wait.

Then she said do you have an order, I said no, again. I would have been happy to buy something if needed. She shooed me away and told me to go use Taco Bell’s restroom….

Terrible way to treat your customers.. this is just from one of my cards last year.

Shame on you.

I loved how comfortable the place was. The colors of the atmosphere were able to work well with the paintings . The paintings were very beautiful and caught my eye. It was very comfortable there. Me and my friends came on Memorial Day. Everyone was so nice. The hostess and the servers were very friendly and smiled very beautifully. They accommodated my friend’s need for water due to medical needs. They care about your health. I had the combination plate , Turkish coffee, and baklava alamode. The dolmas was amazing! The most unique ever. See when I have dolmas from other places, they smell and taste metallic. This had a curry aroma and a pleasant sweetness. Totally recommend! Ate it faster than I can take pictures lol. I never had Turkish coffee before, a deep earthy rich flavor. Other coffee I had were sour acidic watery aftertaste. The baklava was tender soft oozing with honey not like the dry ones I’m used to. The combination platter consisted of beef chicken falafel rice salad pita. I will say tho my friend let me try the pomegranate stew thing and I was going wow!! It had a tangy sweet flavor , in it was chicken. I tell you that one I’d get next time.
