Subway — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Favorite Subway by far! I generally order for delivery because it's hard to find time for lunch due to our busy hours. First off I have been to location (generally on my free time) and must say it's very well kept. The employees do an awesome job cleaning up the tables, restocking utensils, napkins, drinks and food is always fresh. Plus this location is open 24 hours! Major bonus points right there.

Subway is my favorite fast food chain. This location is located on Fairview and Wilson in Costa Mesa. They provide free local delivery. Unfortunately, I do not qualify but the delivery cost which very reasonably affordable. During the busy season (summer), getting a lunch hour is often time difficult. I generally put in order for delivery. There are many great choices like - the sandwich platters, humongous giant subs, and chewy cookies for dessert. We generally go with the "Classic Combo Platter" and "Customize Your Own Platter".

Ordering is made easy, either through the website or calling in. A regular sized platter feeds about 5-9 people. The custom platters can come with up to 5 different flavored sandwiches! I can go on and on about how much Subway Costa Mesa is the best around.

I did an online order offered a bogo. I picked up my sandwich which the one for my kid was on Italian bread (super soft and yummy) but mine was a rock hard stale dry jalepeno cheese bread. I got home immediately got a strong vinegar smell (didn’t order), no tomatoes on the side, and the bread was horrific. I decided to go to ask for a sandwich like my kids so I knew the bread was fresh since her sandwich was amazing. Sure enough FREDRICKO in front of another customer started arguing. He told me it was fresh which it absolutely wasn’t and he knows it. He had attitude and told me to wait for him to help the other man. Well, I waited while having a sick hungry kid waiting for me just to have him take two secs to call and hang up to say no answer from the supervisor. He gave me my receipt and told me to come back next day!!! I was floored. I don’t have issues at any food places let alone a subway: used to be a nice woman who worked there but this man isn’t alright upstairs . Worst experience ever. Very, very disgusted from this location's workers. I went in with my daughter to get a sandwich . The young white man that tried to toast a bun burnt our food and had the nerve to say that is how it is cooked. I may not be a genius but if it smells and looks like its burnt bread its burnt bread.To also receive his continuous eye rolls and back talk because he does not know how to toast bread is also very alarming.He then said I can refuse the right to service to anyone because we did not want have to pay for a burnt sandwich.... If that person was representing my company I would be mortified in levels of stupidity you must require to be upset and refuse service to someone over YOUR OWN MISTAKE.
