My entire family visited this adorable little code as shop in Coudersport, PA. The menu is a bit scattered and all over the place, so it is very difficult to locate different items, the available customizations, prices, etc. Once we ordered, there was a bit of confusion on the barista’s end with getting everything rung up correctly, and we ended up having to go up and pay a second time because she believed she made an error. We had each ordered a drink and a sandwich, so we were ready for a sizable wait time, which it was. The true problem, though, was the lack of communication behind the counter that resulted in several items being missed and several others being made multiple times by different non communicating workers. In the end, we all got a drink and a sandwich of some kind, so no hard feelings.:) From a taste perspective, the food and coffee was solid. The espresso had pleasant nutty notes. They do use mostly Torani syrups, so I’d love to see them switch to homemade or Monin for better flavor. The drinks were on the sweet side, so I would also recommend asking for half sweet. The bagels were nice and chewy, and a good size! The sandwiches had a fair amount of meat on them and were very flavorful. Overall, I think this coffee shop is worth a stop. It’s easy to have a bad day when you work in food service, but I have no doubt the service will be much better when I stop in next time I’m up in Potter County.

Atmosphere- 4 stars- Cream ’n Sugar in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that blends small-town charm with a cozy, community-oriented vibe. Located on Main Street, this locally owned cafĆ© has become a local favorite since 2016. Very clean and many offerings such as assorted bagels, prepared salads, deserts, lunch specials, hand scooped ice cream and of course delicious specialty coffees, lattes, cappuccinos and espressos to name a few. There is some seating inside and a few tables outside. They also have a small gift shop with locally crafted items such as chocolates, blankets, jewelry, pottery and toys. Overall a nice place to stop and have a coffee or light lunch. Service-4 stars- friendly staff. Food- 4 stars- I got a Carmel Latte and a blackberry pastry. Latte was creamy and smooth with just the right amount of caramel. The pastry was awesome. So moist and fresh.

Last summer (2019) I discovered this place for the first time. What a gem. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. This review is far overdue. If you’re in town, there is no better place to grab a bite to eat, a cup of coffee or latte, or a keepsake from Coudersport. You’ll always be greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere. If you ā€œhappenā€ upon this place and don’t know what to do, there are books on the surrounding area, as well as brochures of year-round activities for whatever you like and the whole family. Do not pass this cafe up, you’ll regret you did.

The cake is dry tasteless and dense. I really had high hopes for the cake, but it didn’t have any flavor if that’s even possible. It kept crumbling apart and hard to eat as it was so dry. They wrapped it so tight in the paper all the frosting stuck to it and it was a crumbly mess! The two teen girls seemed like they didn’t want bothered and one even slammed an order book (I think) on the counter in front of me. I ordered my son ice cream and she practically shoved it in his hand. From start to finish it was a miserable experience making me feel uncomfortable. I live two hours away and was excited to try this small place. Never again and my family in Coudersport will also be told about...
