I placed an order for pick-up 32 hours before I needed it. My order was over $200 . I ordered from the Easter preorder section and everything that I selected you had to indicate what day you were picking it up. I entered 345 on Saturday the 16th. I arrive at the location and 2 of the employees were sitting out front in the booths with other individuals and the GM was sitting in the side dining area with an employee. Instead of asking my name, they state, are you the one here to pick up the door dash order. Then when I gave them my name, they stated they didn't have my order and one of the employees blurts out, she just placed the order. I gave them the order # and they still could not find my order that had been placed on-line and already paid. Before they had my order ready, 1 employee states they need to use the restroom and another one wanted to take a smoke break. They handed me my order and said it was all there. i took my order to the car and had to go back in because there was $40 worth of food that was still missing. The GM and 1 other employee did make apologies for the order not being ready. I take my food to the family that was waiting on it only to find out that they did not provide any buns for 4 lbs of meat and not BBQ. I delivered food and had to go to store to get buns and BBQ sauce. which by the way, the BBQ was requested as part of the order. I also had requested a family size apple cobbler that was promoted as fresh baked. It was a frozen solid brick that we had to cook before serving and therefore, did not use. Apologies were offered but no compensation for delay or mistakes. Very, very disappointed. Wil be a long time before I return. Sad to because our church usually orders there once a month with at...
Read moreWe went here for dine-in lunch. Immediately, we noticed how dirty the restaurant was and decided to do carryout. When we went up to the counter, we were completely ignored u til they finished their conversation which included a ton of cussing. The cook was complaining that he was the only one until 11am. The other was complaining and audibly moaning because his hand was hurting. Who wants to listen to that???They discussed him taking Ibuprofen or Fentanyl among other things.
A 2nd cook came and started on our food. I could see that she was putting the wrong thing in the wrong boxes. I had to correct her several times. It took them forever to get our food done.
We only drive 5 minutes at the most to get home. The ribs were dry and overcooked, completely inedible. The pulled pork was slimy. The toast was burnt. Disgusting.
I tried to call twice, but they didn't answer. We drove the food back. I kindly told them it wasn't good. The cook told the other guy with the mangled hand" he better come handle this" as if he was going to go off on us. The mangled hand guy was completely out of it. The guy only refunded $24.03 of the $49.17 spent. We told him that was wrong. He refunded and additional $13. We asked why the difference. He said there wasn't one because 24.03+13.00=49.00. I finally took out my calculator to prove we know math. The cook kept mumbling stuff under his breath and being threatening towards us.
Ive been to all the locations. Each one has it's issues, but this is the worst Hog Wild in the area....
Read moreKeep in mind when you read this then I am sitting in a truck lot in a semi by myself turning 46. And for a little added spice I am a short female with a major attitude today. Having said all that I was pretty damn satisfied with my order. I ordered from DoorDash because even though I didn't check, I highly doubt that this location had semi truck parking. That's okay, most places don't. Not gonna judge on that one. I got the most insanely good baked potato I have had in a very long time. It was topped with brisket and I did not need to add salt or pepper or anything else. I also got a side of baked beans, a side salad, and some apple cobbler. All were tasty. The only things that I would change about the cobbler would be that I would add more cinnamon. But then again I am a cinnamon freak and love the taste of cinnamon. So take that one as you will. The other thing that I might change would be making the brisket just a little bit more tender. Growing up my dad always barbecued and smoked meats so I'm a bit partial to the way that he used to make brisket. But other than that the brisket had a wonderful taste. And lastly....couldn't find my my rach dressing but had some on the truck. As for the all-important question "Would you eat here again?" The answer is a big fat resounding YES. Even if it isn't my birthday or I don't have a 73 ft vehicle with me making parking impossible I would totally order...
