Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

The customer service was awesome. I don't know the young man's name that was working behind the counter, but he was really engaging customers, and was super cool about working around the limitations they were facing at that moment, as they were getting ready to close for the evening.

Rather than make things awkward he simply quickly explained that they were getting ready to shut down, and offered to give me my bag of chips rather than have me take one from the shelf. It wasn't just me, he was super friendly to the other customer that came in while I was waiting.

Given the current state of things in regards to the pandemic, the fact that I wasn't wearing a mask was never mentioned, brought up, nor was I treated differently than those that chose to wear one. I know this has been a divisive issue for some companies, but it's nice when people can simply interact without making a huge issue in what was basically a 10 minute interaction.

This isn't my local store, but I was in the area and stopped in because I was visiting a friend. Glad I did because I'd definitely be inclined to visit again next...

Not again.... You cannot go through the drive-thru. You have to go inside and tell them exactly what you want how you want ... and how you like your sandwich and then you'll have to watch them and make sure they do it right !!! if you don't you will not get the sandwich you want unfortunately that's the way it is. My wife and I love extra everything extra lettuce extra tomato extra vinegar and oil and extra extra extra cherry peppers. Well I went through the drive-thru and took the sandwich home & we got extra nothing ...three tomatoes a little lettuce and about four cherry peppers... I don't know why they're so stingy with the cherry peppers you can't buy them but they have jars and jars and jars of them on a shelf inside ??? I don't know what the deal is....but since I pretty much knew they didn't give me any extra vinegar and oil I asked for a little container of it and they put a little squirt of it in there barely covered the bottom of the container, but shame on me.This is the service you're going to get in Council Bluffs at the Broadway...

The employee was quite rude. Interrupting, rushing, attitude when I asked for a tuna unwich because I didn’t specify which one. I am always polite and understand he probably didn’t want to be there, so did not feel it was justified to be treated like this. When I get to the window he said nothing just pushed my items at me and walked away. We get home and the unwich my mom ordered was a regular sandwich. She has T1D and has to watch her carbs, so now has to take more insulin than planned. Overall very negative experience and we were just getting back from visiting my dad’s grave…. Every time I have interacted with this specific employee he is like this, it was just...
