We love the Molly Brown's in Cuyahoga Falls, but this location- not so much.
My wife and I arrived and seated ourselves. There was only one waitress working the entire restaurant. This place is large enough to need four or five wait staff, not one. We found out later that there were also only two people working in the kitchen. I blame whoever was the manager for everything that happened due to the lack of proper staffing.
We were served coffee and juice promptly and our server did a good job of following up with coffee refills. The wait for our food was longer than usual, but a table of six had ordered just before we did, so we understood the delay.
After the six-top was served, we should have been next. But food for three other tables came out next. All these people came in after us - some as much as 15 minutes after us. Our waitress then came to our table and muttered something about our order. I couldn't understand her, but we decided to wait some more because our order was probably coming soon. So we waited some more.
By this time, it had been 40 minutes since we had ordered and we still had no food. People who had come in 10 minutes after us had received and eaten their food and were leaving the restaurant. We finally flagged down our waitress and asked where our food was, she said it would be right out.
About five minutes later, my wife got her chicken omelette which had sour cream on top. The food had obviously been sitting back in the kitchen for quite some time because the sour cream had melted and run off the top of the food onto the plate and the heat lamps had partially hardened what remained on top.
We waited another five minutes for my cinnamon roll french toast. It never made it to the table. After 55 minutes sitting and waiting, we got up and walked to the front of the restaurant.
I couldn't find our waitress, but did speak to a woman who came out of the kitchen after seeing me standing by the cash register. She said they were short staffed and apologized. I told her how long we had waited and how people had been served ahead of us. There is no excuse for that. The kitchen was obviously able to make food and the wait staff was able to get it to their guests, they just completely dropped the ball with our order.
We won't ever go back to this Molly Brown's location, and this experience has soured our liking for the other locations as well. Very unfortunate because the other locations...
Read moreI placed a to go order at 10:20 am they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes so I got there at 10:41, after 10 minutes of the 5 waitresses walking past me and ignoring me ( I mean I'm standing by the check out counter by the door, I should be kind of hard to miss, they walked past me at least 20 to 30 times ) one of them finally asked me my name, I figured it would be out shortly. By the time I walked out the door with my food it was 11:05, I got home about 5 to 7 minutes later and opened my food to find out that not only was it ICE cold but they had forgotten my home fries as well. I have ordered food from here before, during the shutdown for covid and had no issues but now that they are open it's like they could care less about people ordering food to go, I mean I get it, you are probably not going to get a tip for to go orders, so why worry about them right, the problem is that you shouldn't treat any of your customers like that ever, because, like today, you'll lose them. I will NEVER step foot in this place again. You should NEVER have to stand around for twenty plus minutes to get your to go...
Read moreWe have never had a bad experience at any of the Molly browns until today. Our waitress whispered everything, couldn’t hear her, she was very stand offish, and rude. We waited forever for our food when someone finally brought it to us she stated I thought you already ate. My food was cold my husbands wasn’t. Our waitress checked on us once since being sat. When we were checking out I told my husband to have them take then side of gravy off because we never got it. We were talking to each other and the lady up front said what did you need looked at, what did you need taken off the bill- very rudely. We told her and she had an attitude about it. Communication classes are needed...
