Atmosphere was ok; not the most amazing the people were the best part of the boreal experience. The workers make the atmosphere of a drab showcase room into a homey one with there warm smiles. the pastry’s were a 10 out of 10 food product. On the other hand there meat calzones and pizzas were subpar to rhoad island standards. The pastry’s balance the pizza on the rating so the overall atmosphere was 3 out of 5 stars as well as the make the overall food experience 4 out of 5 stars and the service and the personal is definitely a strong, strong, strong, suit for this business getting a 5 out of 5 stars! but all together I would say a solid 4.6 stars But since it only gives me a option to rate 4 or 5 stars I will give this a 5 star review. you should go and try the Carmel apples they are to die for. Also they don’t permit card tips with cash being less used in today’s society I sometimes want to tip but don’t have cash; please consider an online tip option if the machine permits! you could always add a tip charge and ring it...

ANYONE SAYING THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, WORKS THERE! Disappointed to have to write this. I took a break from going here because the customer service was so poor. Every time I’ve driven down, they aren’t busy, but if I tried calling, I’d be placed on hold indefinitely. They have never taken me off hold the times I have called! I gave it time and tried calling some time later, just to ask a simple yes or no question. I sat on hold for about 10 minutes. Called back, was immediately put back on hold. Called back again and asked the question before they could put me on hold-and was hung up on. So the final time they just let it ring, until I finally got to ask my question. Not even 10 seconds. When I drove by, there was one car. The baked goods are honestly OK. I’ll make the drive to Johnston. Disrespectful, teenage girls. When I arrived at the store at 4:45 PM. The three girls working behind the counter gave Me looks that made me feel unwelcomed. When they had asked me what I was looking for, I said I’m not sure yet. I have to bring some dessert to my mother’s (as there was a lot!) and one of the girls responded with well we close at 5 o’clock. OK, I understand that.

When I asked for help another girl chimed in and I feel like she was not very nice either. Anyways, I ordered the $35 Dessert basket, With a calzone, and dog treats. The dessert was great, very good! However, the calzone was very doughy and not something that I would order again.

The interactions that I received from the staff Was a turn off from me wanting to ever return. I’m sorry that I came 15 minutes before close, yet I felt attacked by the staff. I get wanting to go home, but we had some time! Anyway, I won’t be returning...
