Update: I asked for a biscuit with 2 egg whites on it and was rung up for a grilled chicken biscuit and given a grilled chicken biscuit. I come over here for medical visits only, so being told the only thing they could do about it since I was already on my way to Metairie that they could put my name down on some cares thing. They wouldn't refund it, so not only did I be charged for something that I did not eat, I did not get to eat until late that night.
Update: wait in line for breakfast for 20 minutes and they won't utilize their 2 lanes and you have people entering the line from every which way cutting you when you've been sitting there way longer than them to have them tell you that breakfast is no longer available. It would have been had people not cut in line and had the employees been faster. The Mandeville location is run so much more smoothly. This is super annoying for people leaving the hospital right down the street who can't eat for a long time before their procedures and want to have an easy breakfast. Terrible service.
Update: The 2 lanes they have is awful if you're in a time crunch...the lane I was in had one car in front of me and the lane on the right had 6 cars that were behind me go by before I got to even order...
Most of the time, my order is wrong or messed up. I never have time to get it corrected, so most often, I will give it away. Almost always out of cookies. The food is good and service is good unless you're at the window. The staff will hold personal conversations with their backs turned to you while you wait...
ย ย ย Read moreYes. The food taste great but the ridiculous prices makes me hate the experience on the few occasions we do go. Two spicy chicken sandwiches, a grilled chicken sandwich with a 6-count nugget $21 and change. No drinks and no potato wedges. Wow! And let's not forget the ridiculous lines in the Drive-Thru and in-store usually. What type of Kool-Aid are they serving here to make people wait in those crazy lines for so long to be gouged for chicken?!? We may go twice a year or three times maximum because the prices and small servings are a deterrent. My son weighs only 60 lbs and just getting the chicken sandwich or nuggets does not feel him so it takes a sandwich and Nuggets to fill him up which equals to the price of dinner at a restaurant. Yeah I get it when they say you get what you pay for but the kids prices should be watch cheaper especially when most people have multiple children it becomes extremely pricey eat here. I'm only a family of two And as a single parent it is an extravagance for us to eat at Chick-fil-A. So far all the single parents or income challenged families out there if you still desire to drop into a Chick-fil-A make sure you either go online to cut out a coupon or two in advance because they will definitely hurt...
ย ย ย Read moreSorry for this review, I always rated Chic filet A the best because they are the best in everything they do food or service, but this time it was different, we where an hour away from home, my boy got hungry after we where visiting some friends. So we pass by, the lane was long, but before you know it, we where at the window, we made the order, when we received the food my wife notice some burning smell from the bag. I thought it was coming from outside since we open the window, but sure enough after we pulled away, we opened the bag, the smell get worse, we tried to taste the chicken nuggets, that was the problem, tasted so burned looks like the oil was burned and they still fried it in it. Try to call the store to let them know but no answer. We threw the food away. Had to stop on another exit to purchase different food. I been to the Baton rouge Chick fil A so many times, never had that...
