Oh yes! Native New York City lower east side Manhattan. Do I know good food? You betcha! Im like a gypsy. I move about every year. That just means I rent. Lol. Everytime I move I hunt down the closest tasting New York pizza there is. I found one in Belmont. Now I moved 3 miles up the road to Cramerton. Jackpot! Sure I can go 1/2 mile down the road. But when the guy in the kitchen comes outside to yell across the parking lot that he has the best NY pizza in town, I just knew I got that New York italian vibe from him. I so smiled. Because I know that talk. That talk is familiar. He promised I would be back. And sure enough. Once a week I'm gettin it in! The prices are so reasonable. But the pizza? My eyes finally rolled in back of my head with joy when I took that first bite. If you can eat a cheese pizza ny style and love it. Bam! That's it! Now that's knocked out on pizza. When deciding on a place to eat I always check Google reviews. This one didn’t have the greatest, but we were with a large group, so didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. The second red flag for a restaurant is the sanitation rating which they are required to display. Their’s was a 96, not bad, but we’ve seen much better. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food came out quickly. The pizza was pretty good. We loved the crust and the toppings were generous. Many in our party said they’d return. The calzones had way too much ricotta in them for us to fully enjoy. One had to scrape a lot of the cheese out and another left a large portion of theirs uneaten. A Perfect Ending to a Very Stressful Day... I see a neon sign in the window PIZZA .Witch a Slice an Wings is everything I needed to turn my day around. I'd love to call VIPIZZA CAMERTON a hidden nugget. Noticing they're tasteful blend of authentic Mediterranean plates alongside the traditional Italian zest of homemade dishes. They had there feature board with Chef specials. Which I picked one from there but they also allowed me to customize it just the way I wanted it exactly. And that's what they Delivered. My mouth is watering just thinking about that 45-minute moment of Greatness.
