I want to share my whole experience first of all I don’t blame our waitress for slow service because the cook took forever to make the food and she was pretty much the only one waiting tables. But it took way to long for our food. But she was nice and did her best . My sandwich however was overcooked and food lacked in flavor. Wasn’t very enjoyable. We ordered the special desert as well it was a upside down pineapple cake. But it was very misleading because it was a small Piece of cake with one single pineapple on top. It was good. But not what I was expecting. So yes I was deceived. Unfortunately. So with that being said not sure if I’ll be returning anytime soon. And I’d like to point out that the one girl at the register was extremely rude with a nasty attitude and was holding up the girl trying to ring us up by not allowing her to do her job.

My wife and I decided to visit Valley Dairy for dinner tonight. We had a great dinner at a very reasonable price. The photos are of pretzel bites and beer sauce which were fantastic. The coleslaw is very creamy and nowhere near bitter which is the way I like it. The bacon cheeseburger was wrapped between two toasted cheese sandwiches which is very filling. The burger does need dipped in aiuju sauce before hitting the bread if manager's read reviews. Taste boiled! All in all I gave a 5 Star because it was a quick turn around time from the cooks and Aundrea provided exceptional service for her first time being a waitress. We will certainly stop again if it's too hot to cook at home.

Ordered a typical breakfast of cheese omelet, hash browns, toast and a side of bacon. It was wonderful. The egg was filled with cheese and cooked perfectly. Hash browns had a crisp and not over cooked taste and my server I believe was Colleen a real asset to the restaurant. If you're in the neighborhood stop in for a good home cooked meal and great people.

Food was wonderful. Service was disappointing. We stopped in on Saturday evening. They weren't busy and we were seated right away. The waitress mumbled and spoke softly - and with a mask it was almost impossible to understand her. I am typically very patient and understanding with anyone who works in food service. I get that it isn't an easy job, but a little effort goes a long way. My son asked what the "DB Sauce" was listed with one of the burgers. She replied with "I don't know, but you can leave it off". I clarified, asking her if it was a spicy sauce or any hint of a description. She replied with "I don't know, never had it". My son ordered something else, my daughter ordered, and I asked her what soups they had. She replied with "Chili and some other ones". I asked her if she could find out what the "other ones" were. She said "We had broccoli and cheese earlier, but it's gone. Do you want me to go see?" I said "yes, please" and she took one step from the table, turned around, came back and said "chicken and rice or something like that". Our meals came out quickly and looked delicious. she asked if we needed anything and I asked for silverware. She looked confused, so I pointed to my soup. It took a bit for her to come back and the paper napkin they were wrapped in was disgusting. I handed them back to her, showing her that it looked like a used napkin - not a little spot and asked for another set. She came back with a new set, which was just as dirty - I didn't even take this set from her hand, pointing out that there was grease and chunks on the napkin already. She came back with a 3rd set, stood beside the table, inspected the set in her hand and asked if this one was good enough for me. The food tasted great, but we...

I ordered the Hay Stack (gravy and hash with an egg over a breaded chicken breast), and I’ve never been more disappointed in the quality of my food. The chicken was so raw it was completely inedible—chewy from the first bite, as if the whole thing was made of cartilage. For nearly $12 before taxes, that’s unacceptable.

I rarely write reviews, and when I do, I strive to be fair and positive. However, this was genuinely the worst meal I’ve ever had here. It’s the biggest disappointment I’ve experienced from a place I grew up loving and regularly eating at. I expected at least half the quality I remembered, especially since I still eat here every few months.

After this experience, I’m seriously considering never coming back. If I continue to hear from others that the quality keeps sliding downhill, I’ll start recommending to everyone I know to avoid this place altogether.

The only redeeming quality of my visit was the friendly servers and wait staff. Unfortunately, the blame for this experience lies entirely with the establishment and the...
