Good wings have finally arrived here in Rhode Island!

Ever since Boneheads went out of business during pandemic, there has been a dearth of consistently good wings here in RI... until now. 401 WingZ has stepped up to the plate and hit a homer on their first turn at bat - their wings, in the several times I have been here since opening, have always been cooked perfectly, with an excellent crispy but not burnt skin that holds up well to the tangy and spicy buffalo sauce. Any wing aficionado will tell you a wing lives or dies on how well it is cooked, and the good folks at 401 WingZ, hailing from Buffalo, crisp them up perfectly every time I have been... do build in a few minutes for them to cook your order, though, as they make each batch fresh! (Seriously, you can hear the fryer when the drop them, that's how fresh they are!)

But it's not just wings they do well - they keep a tight menu of chicken, pizza, and "logs" - both in savory pizza flavor and pastry-derived dessert varieties - on deck to keep even picky eaters happy.

I have no complaints. My wife has family in Toronto so we travel through Buffalo yearly. It's refreshing to have Buffalo wingz in Cranston. This place does it right. Wingz aren't dumped into a styrofoam crap container to be steam cooked and ruined. They present their brilliant wingz in a pizza box neatly arranged. Getting takeout the wings remain crispy. The pizza is a pleasant surprise coming from a wing joint. I've also ordered the onion rings and fries both were awesome. Weve eaten in 1x and ordered takeout 3x. All 4 meals were above level and I will keep coming back here for my wingz. My only and single complaint. Im not crazy about the eating in atmosphere. Resembles a cafeteria style atmosphere. Absolutely Amazing Experience at 401 Wingz!

From the moment I walked in, the owner made me feel incredibly welcome truly top notch service! I ordered the wings and chose to have them charred, I highly recommend asking for them that way. They were juicy, flavorful, and hands down the best wings I’ve had in Rhode Island (and I’ve tried quite a few spots). The buffalo sauce is on another level perfectly balanced with just the right kick.

I also tried the pizza, and you can really taste the difference. Everything is made fresh to order, and the quality shines through in every bite.
