Coffee Bean Express — Restaurant in Cranston

Worst customer service. I pulled up to the drive thru and was told “one second”, I waited for 10 minutes before someone took my order and the place was empty. I ordered 2 lattes, which took 5 minutes to order because the person did not know what they were doing. They then asked out loud “do you know how to make one?” Which I thought they were asking me, turns out no one in the store knew what they were doing. I pull up to the window and see the younger guy with glasses having trouble using the espresso machine. The older guy then tried to help and they couldn’t figure it out, so they decide to hand me 2 ice coffees instead (which tasted worse than anything I’ve ever had and was also not what I ordered). Before paying, I asked if the drinks had espresso because I knew they didn’t, and the guy lied and said yes. Anyone that knows what a latte looks like would know that these were not lattes. A latte is mainly milk with either 1/2 espresso shots. I honestly didn’t have the energy to deal with them after the horrible experience so I just paid and left hoping the iced coffees would at least be tasty. Waste of my time and money. I wouldn’t bother giving these people...

My friends and I have been going to Coffee Bean Express for a little while now and have never had a problem with it. We really enjoy their milkshakes and ice cream. BUT, tonight we went a woman was so ignorant and had the biggest attitude. We ordered very quickly, but when they didn’t have the ice cream one of us wanted she got angry about it. We didn’t make a big deal, we just picked something else out quick to keep it simple. I, myself, work at a drive thru and can understand that sometimes it’s frustrating when people will take their time ordering and then order the whole menu. We ordered three things and the lady was giving us an attitude the entire time. nah nah cuz they advertising rlly is cap. the OUTSIDE of their building says “24 hour drive thru” .. not specifying it’s only on friday & saturday &&&& when their hours are listed to close at 11pm (and is stated when you call them) they told us they’re closed at 10:00 ???? we pulled up cuz the sign in their window said Open.. then when my boyfriend went inside to order they locked the door and turned the sign off w no reasoning. when my bf showed the worker the hours online he responded “we’re just closed.” i don’t usually write bad reviews but this has happened more than once.. had to let...
