I ordered the "Healthy Breakfast", as Miss Cranston calls it on their menu. It consists of a 4 egg white only(no yolks) rolled up omelette, fresh fruit cup containing canteloupe, green honeydew melon slices, and grapes, and two of the best whole grain pancakes I have ever eaten. I don't use any butter on top, but just a little pancake syrup. These whole grain pancakes are very light in texture, but big on flavor. You also get your choice of 2 slices of turkey bacon or turkey sausage This plate costs about $12, but I think it's worth the money. This meal will give you plenty of energy, and doesn't weight one down, like after eating regular buttermilk pancakes. I had the same dish last Sunday also, and enjoyed it so much that I ordered it again today. The service is great, even though I think they could be a little short staffed for cooks, as wait to receive food after ordering was about 45 minutes, and the waitress Jody, came by to apologize that the wait was so long. My wife had a conventional western omelette with toast, and home fries for about $10. The portions are large and you can bring them home in a "doggie bag" , if you don't finish it all. The total cost was $28,10, plus a $5.00 tip for the waitress. Total:$33.10. A great meal at a fair price. If you haven't tried Miss Cranston Diner, you're missing out on great meals. They also serve lunch and dinner daily also, I believe. There something for every one at Miss...

Disclaimer: I love breakfast places, from greasy spoon mom and pop style to fine dining. This is the ONLY place I have disliked. The diner is pretty. That's the only positive thing I can say. The service was lousy, I don't think she's ever been a server before to be honest though so maybe she just needs teaching. That's the only excuse I can think of to explain how clueless she is. The food was worse. The breakfast menu is very limited. The corn beef hash has a pungent flavor and is largely composed of gristle. I found it unpleasant having to spit out gristle while trying to eat breakfast. I thought it was impossible to screw up eggs and hash but they did, also if you like cheese ask for double because they use it very sparingly. Not one employee knows what wifi network belongs to their establishment and the paper with the passcode has a note written on it to "arman" asking him to correct it because his customers are displeased with being handed an incorrect password. I will never go back. If I wasn't so tired I would have refused to pay but didn't feel like debating with people who clearly are clueless. You'd think if someone only takes a few bites and then pushes the plate away and asks for the check the server might at least ask if everything...

I met a friend at the diner to celebrate her birthday. As I entered she was engaged in an argument with one of the waitresses. The waitress said that she had not seen her when she went into the dining room. This was very unlikely since there were two other tables she was serving and a table very close to hers and it was not a chance that she had not seen her. It would seem that This Woman's lack of attention to her had to do the fact that friend has dark skin. I convinced her to stay set at the same table location that she had been ignored at, with a couple sitting at a table directly across from hers further emphasizing the fact that waitress could not have possibly not seen her. From that point on I can only rate the waitresses overall attitude as abrupt and unfriendly. Of course Our intention is to not ever go there again and I will be sending a letter to the owner regarding...

I waited about 20 minutes for my eggs Benedict (even tho I was the only customer they had to cook for), so I guess that's why it was so overcooked. The potatoes were literally crusted together with burned matter of some sort, the eggs yolks were hard, the muffins weren't buttered as they needed to be to compensate for the lack of hollandaise sauce. The tomato juice was good at least. And to top off this huge disappointment of a breakfast, the waitress still charged me for the meal that I only was able to take two bites of and TOLD her it was horrible. She just said sorry, grabbed the check, and went off with a total lack of concern. Will never return to this establishment and recommend for everyone to go elsewhere.

I haven’t been here in years, I think the last time I was here was at the old location. But the restaurant was redone very nicely, it has plenty of seating between the dining room and the counter area. The staff were all very nice and attentive. I even watched some waitresses leave the restaurant to help some elderly patrons get inside. The menu is what you would expect to see at a food breakfast spot. They had good prices and a good selection of options. I had the homemade hash in the “Irish omelette” it was very good. I loved the toast. All in all a great breakfast location. Look forward to our next visit.

Big thank you to Cranston dinner for seating a ten top an hour or so before closing. We called another place that will remain nameless and they wouldn't take us. Good thing anyway because the hospitality was great. Our waitress was very accommodating as well with us asking to split the check, so thank you. All the food came out in a timely manner and everything was great. It's so nice visiting places with reasonable prices and good portions. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.
