Delizioso Deli — Restaurant in Cranston

I LOVE Delizioso’s! I had just found out about them in 2020 when I moved in with family and my brother would take his mom out a Saturday to a one on one lunch. I tried my first sandwich here soon after, a large Italian grinder with vinegar.

I swear it’s the best deli/ Italian grinder I’ve had in RI in a looooong time. I love grinders and I have had many from all over Rhode Island. There is this one person who especially makes the sandwiches great but all the employees are nice and welcoming. Even if there is a line you aren’t waiting too long and they have many other delicious items other than grinders. I love their pizza chip bread.

I hate to leave this review, as my husband and I have frequented and loved Delizioso's for years, but I've had issues with my food enough times to warrant it. For a long time the sandwiches here were fantastic, but recently attention to quality has gone downhill. Today my husband picked up lunch for us. My sandwich was made incorrectly (missing the bacon), the tomatoes were all white and clearly sliced right near the stem, there was very little deli meat, and to top it off I found a long hair that wasn't mine in the second half of the sandwich. I'm sad to say it, but something has changed here and I don't know that I'll be back...

Can beat the grab & go "Ol' school" Italian deli- They can make a sandwich! Nice selection of heat & eat deli case selections, lots of cold salad side options. Homemade tuna salad is fantastic! Pizza flavored Pizza - large square pies, just thick enough, great sauce & cheese, dough is Incredible... Price for quality pie large, 1 or 2 topping for $11- No Way! Love the young guys on staff. Don't let their age fool you, these fellas can cook!!! (They do have Specialty pizza as well $$$) *Just pay attention to the Hours- or you'll miss out & pay too much...
