Poco Loco Tacos — Restaurant in Cranston

I recently started coming back here and the original woman behind the counter I haven’t seen so I think I’m in the clear 😉😂. She wasn’t the sweetest or patient person to take your order. And I think we can all agree that a restaurant needs an appropriate person to take those orders andgreat your customers especially if her Face Is the first person your customers are going to see. I was there last night 3/28/2018 at 8-830. And I have never seen her before but she was very nice and answered the few questions I had without getting inpatient and telling me to step to the side so she can take the peoples orders who actually know how to read a menu LOL. Just wanted to know what was in the salsa they use I have allergies man! Haha. But yea I love this place! The pork is a bit to sweet for me. But everything else on there menu is amazing! Service was good and menu had a wide selection of food. The food lacked flavor and the presentation was lackluster. The food I ordered was covered in jalapeños and had little to no cheese on it which is shocking because you would think nachos would have cheese. The chicken and beef on the nachos were nothing exciting either, the chicken tasted cold and stiff and the ground beef tasted like it was canned sloppy joe mix. I don’t think the blonde hair found added any flavor either.

I don’t know if they know what really Mexican food tastes like but I think they need to re-evaluate some of their menu, because from what I tasted it was just sad and flavorless. I do hope they amp up the flavor of their food because I’d be better off eating Taco Bell then...

I stop by to grab some lunch. The first thing that came to mind was getting a Birria taco ( the taco with a dipping sauce/stew). It was not available, not on the menu. So i settled for a chicken and beef taco, which was $3 each. Plus, I added a can drink for $1.50 and chip with salsa & guacamole. You get to choose if you want a soft or hard taco. I was able to take a seat while I waited for my food because there were seats inside and outside of this establishment. But I did not wait long, and they brought the food out to me.
