Pawtuxet Park is one of my favorite places to look at the harbor, enjoy the scenery, and watch the ducks. I walk past the Aspray House and onto the docks (you are allowed to open the gate that leads down to the docks), and I like looking at the waves, the boats, and the cove opening to the bay. Back at the park, there is a playground, benches, a flat concrete path for strolling, a book exchange box, and beautiful trees, plants, and flowers in the summer. Read moreI attended a bridal shower at the asprey house, which is a small historic boat house in pawtuxet park. I was told its reasonably priced to rent out for events. It has enough space on the inside for tables and chairs to be set up. It has bathrooms and kitchen.
