Dari-Licious — Restaurant in Crawfordsville

I absolutely love this place. I'm from Seattle Washington. I come to Crawfordsville every year now for half a decade. Dairy-licious is my go to place every summer I'm here. Back home I don't take my daughter to get milkshakes often. But here we go every other day. If I could I'd buy a hoodie & t shirt with their logo on it. It would be incredibly fruitful to begin selling merch. People such as my self who travel with their families become free advertising nationwide. A lot of people stand behind this business. This part of the country isn't home. This town isn't home. Yet dari-licious gives me that same feeling as being in a hometown. I truly look forward to seeing turtle Park & that sign out front. If I could change one thing it would absolutely only be a nitpicky suggestion. The straw; it is quite the feat to suck a chunk of banana through it. That bumble bee milkshake is euphoric & I buy them multiple times a visit here. Each time I'm up for the challenge. This time I learned to grab a couple extra thick straws from a local fast food place to bring with me! Even with the tiny straws I'll continue to fully support...

My family has been coming to Darilicious for years. It’s been our favorite place to get drinks and ice cream. Until recently. Since ownership change there have been numerous negative occurrences. The outside of the facility is frequently dirty. Anytime we go through the drive through, we feel rushed by the staff. Drinks are typically handed to us without wiping off the coke that ended up on the sides. Recently, we ordered a specific sundae and were given the wrong item. Instead of saying “so sorry let us take care of that”, they argued and said it was correct (even though I’ve been getting this sundae for years and know what is in it). When pushed on the matter of the sundae being wrong, they rudely said they could remake it. Long story short, Darilicious is going down hill. And this last experience was the final straw for me. Darilicous has been a staple here my entire life. When I come back to Crawfordsville, this is where I want to go and my kids. The Snicker Sunday is my go-to and the only thing I get. I was so disappointed when I ordered my favorite sunday when in town and it was absolutely NOT a Snicker Sunday. There was little ice cream (for a medium), too much Carmel, no nuts, and VERY LITTLE of the chocolate, which is the best part of the sunday to create the "snicker" pieces. I hope this is not the quality we should expect going forward, I would hate to see this Crawfordsville staple go out of business or suffer since the quality seems to have changed significantly.
