This is truly a Hidden-Gem and what a wonderful unexpected surprise to have while on a random afternoon stroll along White River trail. When we got to the entrance they were closed at that time, unfortunately. However, we were still able to enjoy a little of the surrounding gardens. Each turn, by turn took us through all these different little trails, each one having its own individual look & feel. That was more than enough for us to plan a day to comeback when they were open! ... and...that’s just what we did! In fact for the past 2yrs now we have been there multiple times during different seasons of the year. We have always enjoyed being there as a family also with friends and extended family too! By now you may have noticed that I haven’t actually said any specific examples about anything there. Instead I have chosen to tell you how this place has made us feel & the enjoyment of the now many visits.. It would be wonderful for someone else to get to experience this place like we did. To not have any expectations or knowledge about any one part/thing there. Hopefully you haven’t read other reviews yet & stop looking at their pictures too. Christian, writer, lawyer, soldier, inventor, hunter, fisherman, lover of books, artist, architect, politician, world traveler, husband, father, dreamer, etc. His study has many innovative features; such as combined gas and electric light fixtures.
