Great Wall IV — Restaurant in Crete

We stopped to try this restaurant on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, around 12:30 p.m. From the outside, it really does look like it's out of business, although we did notice the drive thru window had several customers during the 50 minutes were were dining in. There was only one other table of customers inside when we arrived. We ordered two items featured in large photos above the doors to the kitchen and restrooms: One order of Moo Goo Gai Pan and one order of General Tso's chicken pictured on a bed of broccoli. We also got one order of egg rolls. The egg rolls were served on a paper plate. We weren't offered any sweet and sour sauce, but we didn't ask for any after the egg rolls were delivered. The main dishes were served in to-go foam containers with hinged lids, with a paper bowl of rice. There was no broccoli with the General's chicken. We thought the rice tasted odd, maybe like almond flavoring? The main dishes and the egg rolls were mediocre, but there was a lot of food in the main dish and the rice. The lights at the counter are were not lit, but the restaurant was clean throughout the dining area and restrooms. We live in Martell, Use this amazing family business all the time in the past 3 yrs. Their food is ALWAYS delcious, fresh, ready quickly.The appetizers, Soups are great. We are sushi buffs, the Sushi rivals that of Ginger etc but half the prices. We have tried almost all on the menu, never had any issues. We come so often, they know us by phone, order, name. They are the best owners. Very friendly. HIGHLY recommend trying them. They are our go to for Chinese food. Besides the buffett bar on N 27th. Gonna miss this place. We reg get the Lo Mein, Seasame Chicken. General Tso Chicken. Garlic Chicken is good but spicy, not too spicy. Also had the Sweet sour Ck, Black pepper ck, shrimp. LARGE BUG!! Ordered food for me and a coworker today. Order showed up later than the time placed for order. Everything arrived as should with an average look, nothing exceptional. About a fourth of the way through my meal I ate a piece of my sesame chicken. When I bit in I got a foul taste in my mouth. Chewed it for a bit before deciding I couldn’t stand the toxic taste. I spit out a piece and notice it didn’t look right. Went straight to the trash and spit it all out as I realized there was a LARGE BUG cooked in with the chicken. Absolutely distrusting.
