La Cabana Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Crete

I dined here hoping it was going to be pretty good. Or at least better than the place there before it. I ordered the Cabana Nachos with steak and wings. The nachos were just OK.... they were edible. It was like they just poured some canned nacho cheese and sour cream over the tortillas and added meat and jalapeños. The wings.... well they were definitely huge pieces, BUT, these wings were so blonde (as in cooked color) that I instantly had an (I don't think these are done moment). I ordered 6 and 4 of them were the drum pieces and 2 flats. I absolutely despise drums but I didn't specify that I only wanted flats so that's not on them. As I'm picking these drums apart I'm seeing that I was right and that these are undercooked. The server saw I was having issues and asked how everything was. I told her that the wings were not done completely and by this time I was completely grossed out so when she asked if I wanted her to remake them I said no. Then she asked if I wanted a box and again it was a no from me....I was just ready to go. When the bill was brought to me there wasn't even a courtesy discount off the $12 uncooked wings that I didn't eat, no apologies, nothing. I have to say I was in a great mood today so I wasn't even going to debate it.....but I do need them to get it together. We went there twice a year for eight years or more. This sat we went there after our show. As usual my friend order the same dish. I try something different wasn’t that hungry. It was beef nachos supreme. Came vary quickly like Four Five minutes. Friend food was hot mine was ice cold.meat look like wasn’t ccok. Cheese wasn’t melted and vavy little cheese on it. Sent it back. Right away ordered something else came out hot after almost my friend dinner done Check came. All three meals were on it. Call management. He said why should they have to pay for it. I recently visited La Cabana in Crete and decided to give it a try despite some of the mixed reviews I’d read online. I’m glad I didn’t let the negative comments deter me, as it seems the restaurant is paying attention to feedback.

I ordered the garlic ghost pepper wings and shrimp tacos. The wings had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the tacos were flavorful—overall, the food was decent. My waitress was friendly and attentive, which added to the experience.
