Burger King — Restaurant in Crete

Let me begin by saying I live in close proximity to this Burger King and the one on Chicago road and Sauk Trail in Chicago Heights. This Burger King is a fairly new location, it's only been here for a few years. The establishment seems clean and is a fairly nice restaurant visibly. Now with all that being said, this is the worst fast food place I've ever visited. I've really tried to give it a chance by going at different times and ordering different things but, it doesn't matter when you go or what you order. The food is always cold and looks like something they just threw together. They take absolutely no pride in preparing food and clearly doesn't seem to care. I went for breakfast today August 10 and yesterday the 9th. I had to return some hash browns or potatoes because they were to hard (overcooked). So when they gave me the new ones they were under cooked and warm at best. The sista that wears glasses is the manager and her attitude is awful. Not awful in terms of speaking but non chalant, as if she really doesn't care about her position. She seems to be there just to get a check. I don't care what you do for a living, but take some pride in what you do. When you're in a customer service industry, take pride and care in your customers. My wife is in customer service and has set the standard in terms of going above and beyond. She's said many times that she treats people like she would want to be treated and would want her family to be treated. I apologize for this long review but I wanted to be as detailed as I could be about this place. Don't waste your time or your money, you can go to the Circle K at the corner and get better food and DEFINITELY better service. Have a good day...

Not just the worst burger king but easily the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I like Burger King and this is close to my work. Unfortunately after 4 attempts and 4 chances to redeem itself, I will not be returning. This place should be shut down it’s so bad, and I assume if other people have the same experience I have, it won’t be long. 2 times I’ve showed up at night but well within their business hours, to be told they are closed. The other two times I got a response at the drive thru after a significantly long wait. The first time my food was inedible, absolutely disgusting looking, hastily thrown together, without any consideration for food safety. Food from the fryer was hard as a rock and food from the grill was undercooked. They didn’t even attempt to toast the bread on a melt. I should have learned my lesson after that experience. On my latest and final visit, I was the only customer, and my order was completely wrong. Getting food I didn’t order and not receiving what I did. Both occasions they didn’t hand me a receipt. The restaurant is clean. They do mess up orders. I've had a few orders that weren't done right, so check your order before driving away. I recently made a mobile order and paid via the app. However, when I got to the drive-thru, they said they didn't have my order, so I went into the restaurant to see what the issue was. They took forever to approach me even tho the lobby was empty. Once they did, I was told that they were out of onion rings and chicken. Then, one of the employees that was in the back located 2 frozen chicken patties to make my order and said they could only give French fries. I had asked for a manager, and they said there wasn't one on duty, so I asked for a refund and was told I had to go thru the app. I will never ever return to this particular...
