On 4-29-15 I ordered a new pull string for my lawnmower. I picked the part up approximately the first week of May. The new part the spring had broke. I took it back on 6-23-15 for a repair or replacement. The women behind the counter was very rude by starting off with a large huff put her purse down and said HOLD ON I have to get my glasses I was about to go home. Looked up the part found my invoice order number, then proceeded to tell me that I have to bring her the receipt from where I purchased my lawnmower so they can fill out a warranty to see if they can just give me a new one. I did not purchase my mower from them only the part that is not even 2 months old. She then proceeded to tell me that we don't even sell that so we cant warranty it. I said ok I bought it here she said no we just ordered it for you. I said you had found my receipt that I bought it here. Again she said we just ordered it for you. You have a cheap mower and we don't even sell that. At this point I was a bit upset and said you know what its 26 dollars I'll buy a new one! She then stated well we don't even have that in stock we would have to order you one anyways so what are going to do? At that point I said I will just someplace else! To my surprise was told GOOD! Great...

I do not take time to sit and write reviews on here but I’m a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due and for Shorewood Home and Auto of Crete I had to. This place is awesome and the people here are as professional and friendly as you can get! I had one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had at Ginas Motorsports of Monee (another local Polaris shop) and I HIGHLY recommend anyone in the area staying away from that place at all costs and bring your business to Shorewood Home and Auto of Crete IL, you will thank me! Ginas had my machine for 3+ weeks to change a part under warranty, called me to come pick it up finally as it was completed, only to get there, load up and ready to leave only to discover the part was never changed (old part was still on machine, they never touched it at all) and the new part was still in the box sitting in the shop. Yes it was the wildest experience I’ve had and I will NEVER EVER return to Ginas Motorsports in Monee. Shorewood Home and Auto of Crete has earned my business for life, it’s a great establishment, and the work was done right the first time and in faster time than they originally projected to me! TAKE YOUR MACHINES HERE PEOPLE, You will not regret it!!...

These guys have always given me great service. Have purchased tractors, trimmers, chainsaws, etc., from them over the years, and probably the best story I have, went in one day to buy a bolt and cotter pin to replace one I'd lost, but a week earlier had purchased a shaft bearing for my mower deck, and I couldn't get the old bearing out, didn't have the right tool or the expertise...so I had put the deck in the back of the pickup, brought it to them, a tech ran out, right tool, got the old one off and the new one on in about 5 minutes. I go inside to check out, fellow at the counter says it'll be $5 or thereabouts. I say, no, can't be, that's just for the pin, and you guys just helped me with this bearing, so it's got to be more than that. He says, "no, you got the bearing here, so don't worry about it." And another thing: they don't sell the cheap crap that you'll find at the home improvement warehouse stores. This stuff lasts. And they know all about the products that they sell, experience that you'll never get at the...
