Old Town Tap — Restaurant in Crete

I have always liked Old Town Tap and have been going there for about a decade. They upgraded about a year-and-a-half ago and added an outdoor patio that's wonderful. It's definitely a great place to go hang out outdoors and have a few drinks whether coming back from Balmoral or just going out on a leisurely Sunday. Their burnt ends hands down are the best I have ever had and they have a great craft and international beer list. I'll be back as often as I can and always also make a stop at Evil Horse Brewery a block away on the way home. Nice job...

Don't be deceived by the parking. The lot is small but there is a lot of room inside and a nice patio with seating. I almost passed on going when I saw cars parked along the road for a while, but took the chances and went in, got seated promptly.

I had the BBQ platter and the brisket was the best thing on the plate. Good onion rings and fries as well. I will definitely come back. There was a slight problem with the food for my daughter's meal, but they corrected that...

They have a fantastic jam night on Thursday nights w no cover charge,the wait staff is prompt and friendly,and Vince and Vicky,two of the owners,went out of their way and were kind enough to offer me a ride when i had become stranded..can't say enough great things about this place..I had the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast which was delicious and very high quality...and only!7.00!!!
