The food was absolutely amazing! We were blessed enough to meet the owner and his family. They are so welcoming and wonderful. Saying that the food is amazing really doesn't do it justice.

We had turkey breast (so juicy and delicious), brisket ( husband got a mix of lean and moist... he loved both, but said you have to try the moist) Ribs (fall of the bone good). The sides were brisket corn casserole (GET IT) it is a wonderful mixture of brisket, sauce and corn. Macaroni and cheese super good, perfect flavor and cheesiness, Baked beans with nice piece of bacon, and potato salad. I am particular about potato salad... with that said, it is the closest thing to my mom's I have ever had! It is wonderful. If you are banana pudding fans you really should make sure you save some room for it!

Wooooweee, I didn’t even know I had a missing piece in my heart but this filled that void. La Cruda is EXACTLY what Crosby needed! A family-run business complete with great food and nice portions. I ordered the one-meat and two sides. It came with three pretty thick slices of brisket, two slices of bread, pickles, and possibly pickled onions(?). I made a sandwich with one slice of brisket, ONE SLICE! If you do not trust my five star rating, allow La Cruda’s Facebook page speak for their amazing quality. You often will see, “Sorry folks, we sold out of (insert menu item).” This family knows Texas BBQ and I’m thankful they’re sharing! I docked a star for atmosphere. Limited parking up front and just be careful walking to the door. The restaurant is clean, orderly, and wonderful staff. This is a newer restaurant but I cannot WAIT to see what the future holds...

Warning: I’m gonna rave so much about this place it’s gonna sound fake. 😋 Tried out this relatively new place when looking for new bbq while running around east of Houston. Wonderful! Awesome brisket. Melts in your mouth & delicious flavor. Checked w the owner & it is a full 12 hour smoke. Pork ribs are wonderful & have a delicious slightly unique flavor I couldn’t put my finger on. Jalapeño cheddar sausage also was likely best I’ve ever had. And the Texas Twinkies.. brisket & cream cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon.. amazing. I also loved the experimental attitude the owner approaches good with. He brought out a Strawberry Cream Dr Pepper pork burnt ends sample for is to try. So delicious & unique. Meaty desert! He says he plays with different flavors all the time.
