I had a turkey, Swiss, tomato, bacon sandwich on cranberry bread. The bacon was raw. I told my sister don't eat the bacon it is not cooked. I never complained to waitress or anyone there. On Friday night took half of it home nothing tasted done in sandwich barely Toasted or grilled. The next night went there fir meat raffle and ordered more food I had walleye tacos they were wonderful. But my receipt was my sisters for $11.05, her receipt was mine and husband's $38.00 something I asked if the waitress could correct that she said she would. Right after that the manager came out screaming at us about always complaining. I told her I just want my receipt so I know what to take out of checking. That it was her waitresses that messed up our receipts. I asked to talk to the owner who came out screaming and yelling at us telling here I will give you $20.00. To stay out of here for a month. I told him I just want my receipt. He accused us of being rude to staff and everyone. I told him I rarely come in there I don't drink or get rude with anyone. He chased us right out the door in front of everyone. And said I told them the bacon was raw the night before. ( It was raw see pic below) the staff must have heard me tell my sister. And lied about it. He was very rude to us and I will never go in there again he was like a wild man and I was scared of him all over a receipt!! Horrible...
Read moreThe first sign that going to Andy’s wasn’t going to be a good experience was that every restaurant in Crosslake had overflowing parking lots except Andy’s. My family and I walked into Andy’s and stood at the door for 5-10 minutes because there wasn’t a sign nor were we told if the restaurant was seat yourself or wait to be seated. We weren’t even greeted since all of the wait staff were busy cleaning tables. Eventually we were told to seat ourselves and we waited 10 minutes for drink orders and menus. The drinks actually came in a timely manner however we waited 20 minutes until we were able to order food. For the next 30 minutes our waitress did not visit our table once. The bar patrons received their food before us despite arriving after us. The food itself was alright. We arrived to Andy’s at 6:12 and we didn’t get our food until 7:19, the restaurant was only half full. What was worse was that the table next to us was there before us and ordered their food and received it at the same time we did. The icing on the cake was the 2 signs that said, “no political talk,” while having CNN on the tv...
Read moreThis has been our favorite Crosslake restaurant. It was a good go to place with really friendly staff and consistently good food. However, twice now, we have not been able to be served. Once because we got there too late and the kitchen was closing in ten minutes (what kitchen in the lake summer closes at 8?). The second time because they schedule steak night and music night on the same night, and then have to close the kitchen an hour and half early because they can’t handle the load. ….,what a disappointment. When you can’t trust a restaurant to serve food during their scheduled hours, you stop going to the restaurant because walking out and choosing another place to go gets old. Fool me once, shame on me; fool me twice, shame on you. Third time, and we’re...
