Hardee’s — Restaurant in Crossville

WORST place EVER!! Waited forever on our food and then when we finally got it, it wasn't even warm....No lettuce on the tacos and when I asked they informed me that they had to make the lettuce and it wasn't available right now. Make lettuce?? Seriously?? Strange that the sandwiches had lettuce on it. Then there was no salsa on the chicken bowl and when asked about the salsa they were "making the salsa" also. Asked again about 10 mins later and the guy said that it hadn't been made yet so I asked how much longer and he totally ignored me. Finally talked to one girl that said they were out of shredded lettuce so I asked if I could just get a piece of the lettuce that went on the sandwiches and I would tear it up myself. She went back to the back and cut it up herself. And I thanked her for being the only nice one working there because the guy at the register was RUDE!! WILL NEVER EAT AT ANY OF THESE RESTAURANTS...

Not really "bad", but definitely far from good.

Obviously very understaffed, which is no doubt an unfortunate product of the COVID-era of employment. Was a very long wait for there to only be 3 people in line, and before 6am.

They have signs asking you to pay with credit/debit due to the coin shortage, but the credit card machine won't work, and the cashier was (probably unintentionally) rude to the customer in front of me about it. As a bonus, when I paid with cash, he couldn't fathom that he could give me five pennies change in lieu of the nickel he was out of. I'd chalk both up to stress from lack of help and a need for more training.

On the plus side, once I did finally get my food, it was fresh...

We go to many Hardee's all the time, especially for breakfast. On Wednesday 10-2-24 we went thru the Hardee's drive thru off of Peavine in Crossville, as we have many times on our way to Nashville. This particular visit was certainly worth a review. First thing we noticed was the lady taking our order was extremely nice and friendly, we even looked at each other, as if, can you believe this. We each had a biscuit, one SEC and the other EC. Oh my goodness, for whatever reason, these were the BEST biscuits we had ever had. Something was different, I sure hope to some day have another one of those GREAT biscuits. Good Job, you deserve a...
