My mom and I rarely eat at McDonald’s but were on our way home from vacation and just needed something quick. We paid for the completely wrong order and when the old woman at the window started handed us our drinks we realized it was not our order. We told her what we ordered and she asked for our receipt. We gave her the receipt (we just paid and had not even looked at it yet) and she tried to tell us we didn’t order what we ordered. Like are you serious? We know what we ordered. She then realizes they charged us and gave us the wrong order. We did not get an apology just an attitude saying “she’ll do the best she can” and told to pull forward. We waited for our food and the man that brought us our food didn’t bring our drinks or the salt and ketchup we asked for. He went back inside to get our drinks and I said we better check our food since they were so incredibly rude. I open the first box and there was a HUGE curly hair underneath the burger. I go inside and ask for the manager and sure enough, it was the rude old woman that “helped” us in the drive through. I showed her the HUGE curly hair and said I would like my money back and it was $17.28. She again asked for the new receipt and I told her I’m not going back to the car to get it they can figure out what it costs based on our order. Once again she replied with “she’ll do the best she can”. STILL NO APOLOGY. I then said she should be apologizing to me for all the errors and the disgusting hair in the food and she responded with telling me she’s going to get someone else to help me because she’s gonna “go off” if she stays over here to help me. I waited about 7 minutes before anyone else came to refund my money and he ALSO DID NOT APOLOGIZE ONE TIME. I said you know, an apology for a mistake goes a long way. Note to you restaurant managers that can’t apologize when you make a mistake- this whole situation could have been avoided with a “I’m sorry mam, we will make it right”. Were you brought up in a...
Read moreWhen going to McDonald's, you should never expect a gourmet meal. But considering 1 meal, there is now the same price equivalent of a 6oz ribeye steak meal from Texas roadhouse. You would think they could at least make your food right the 1st time. As per usual, a simple sandwich with just 1 alteration resulted into gas , time wasted in the drive thru, making it halfway home, having to turn around ,come back, and making a trip inside. The bagel I was given was as hard as a hockey puck and equally as dangerous. The minor alteration which was sub round egg instead of a folded, was grossly ignored. The wait inside to even be acknowledged was triggering my inner "Karen". Nothing worse than sitting 8 minutes in a drive-thru, to get halfway home to have to turn around and be ignored by staff and management alike. Luckily for them I have learned how to tune my inner Karen out. I know people make mistakes, but to blatantly have a sticker which notes my 1 alteration, to then serve the customer the absolute opposite on something so old and hard it can break teeth ... Is absolutely ridiculous. Is it too much to ask for our food to be made right the 1st time? Anywho... after 2 trips to McDonald's,8 minutes in the drive thru and 13 minutes inside, 21 minutes in total, I FINALLY received my sandwich made correctly....
Read moreI was staying at the holiday inn next door to this establishment and drive a semi for a living. The lobby was closed (9pm) so the only other option I had was the drive thru. I asked an employee from their side door if I could walk thru drive thru to order and she talked with her manager (I believe to be the 2nd shift manager) she stated their company policy was to NOT allow walk ups. Which is common practice due to obvious reason. However I am in a 30,000lb truck with no way to navigate though it. I asked to speak with the manager and instantly was met with an attitude from her. I explained what I was doing and driving and she had no care in the world. Most places will allow truck drivers to order but she had no care or respect for the situation it puts me in. It's more of a safety thing for me to bring a 20ft+ vehicle into their parking lot then for me to walk through it. As I finished talking with her and was walking away she slammed the side door shut. I was forced to take my truck to the pay window to order. Overall bad experience dealing with the manager. The workers were amazing and enjoyed me taking the truck to their windows! (MANAGER NEEDS TO BE DISCIPLINED AND ACCPETIONS FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NO...
