1/5 Stars - Unacceptable Conditions at Zaxby's
I'm still fuming after my recent visit to Zaxby's. I stopped by for a quick lunch, but what I witnessed was appalling. As I was waiting in line, I noticed a strong vaping cloud coming from the back of the kitchen. I brushed it off as maybe someone was on break, but then I saw one of the employees vaping INSIDE THE WALK-IN FREEZER.
I was shocked and disgusted. Not only is vaping in a food storage area a serious health hazard, but it's also a huge breach of food safety protocols. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
But that wasn't even the worst part. As I was using the restroom before leaving, I caught a glimpse of another employee vaping in the bathroom stall. I was mortified. It's unacceptable that employees feel comfortable enough to vape in areas where food is prepared and consumed.
Needless to say, I did not eat my meal and instead reported my concerns to the management. I hope they take immediate action to address this issue and provide better training to their staff.
Until then, I'd advise others to steer clear of this Zaxby's location. A company's reputation is built on the quality of its food and service, but it's also built on the integrity of its employees. Unfortunately, this location...

Normally, Zaxby's a good place to get some spicy fried chicken. However, there seems to always be issues when the manager named James(I believe that's his name)is working.
This is the second time while he is working that I ordered ahead, only to wait an extensive amount of time after my arrival.
The first experience I waited for 30mins after ordering ahead, and was told "we're really busy". Now I will say the drive thru was busy, but that is not an excuse.
The second time (tonight) the drive thru was again busy, but still not an excuse. I waited for 15mins this time, and was served cold food after the employee who brought my food said "we gave you a free cookie for your wait".
I believe what is happening during these shifts, is the manager is focused only on serving the drive thru, which is evident by the fact each time more than 8 cars were served before my food was taken care of.

Read moreHorrible experience. We ordered our food after waiting in a crowded unorganized line. After waiting awhile we notice our food sitting on the back counter and the two employees shrugging shoulders and looking confused. They had the food back through the window to the cooks and I hear them say they don't know what order it is. Apparently they deleted the order from the screen and instead of asking customers who's order it was they decided to just send it back. Finally they turn to us and we tell them it appeared to be ours. However half the order was missing. They tell us they will fix it. 10 mins later we are still waiting. We tell them again we don't have all our food! They forgot again!
Finally we got all the food but unfortunately it was all cold by this point and not good at all. This was quite possibly the worst experience...
