Thumb Roast Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Croswell

We’re from SE Michigan and were visiting Croswell for a funeral. We stopped in to Rae’s, hoping for a light breakfast and some coffee, and boy did we find that and more! Service was phenomenal, hands down! Sean is an awesome kid and was so knowledgeable about everything from the floor boards to the coffee. And the coffee! Was superb! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with extra crispy bacon and an over medium egg with provolone cheese and it was delicious! I truly enjoyed stopping in and will be driving back to Croswell now, just for this coffee...

Thank goodness for Google because that’s how we found this little gem! We are camping in Lexington and it was a rainy Saturday morning and were looking for a place for breakfast and this is were we ended up. Everything was delicious and generous portions as well. The breakfast sandwich was better than what I could have done myself and my boyfriend’s omelette was huge and amazing. And….the coffee was outstanding! Perfect pour over and worth the wait.

We came for breakfast, and absolutely loved it there. I love the waffles and the HOMEMADE SYRUP. Get the homemade syrup; you won’t be disappointed. If you aren’t sure what flavor, ask your server to choose. It will be a great surprise.

We also loved talking to Missy, the owner, who is very involved in the entire area. We loved her welcoming attitude and enthusiasm toward her restaurant and Croswell.

What a gem in an area that is reinventing itself. We will definitely be back, and look forward to...
