There's 3 things I always try when I go to a donut shop, regular glazed, cinnamon twists, and kolaches. In this instance the cinnamon twists were a bit off from the norm, so I can't really honestly review them since they were far off from expectations (which isn't always bad) but I'd say I was disappointed this time with the twists. They didn't have the usual glaze atop the cinnamon, but instead was basically a donut smothered in dried cinnamon sugar. If you like glaze on yours then you may not appreciate these. That leaves 2 more things, starting with the kolaches. I love the spice of jalapeno kolaches but I absolutely despise the taste of jalapenos, so these are usually a gamble. If you like chunks of jalapenos in your kolaches, like mouthful chunks of straight pepper almost, you'll love these. I usually pick out the jalapeno chunks and toss them aside and finish the rest of the kolache without issue, but these were all hidden inside the compressed wraps of ham. I'm not knocking off stars because of this. My problem with these is that literally 60% of the whole kolache was bread. There was a small bit of rolled up ham off to one side (see pics) and the taste of the bread was just a bit strange. I ended up not finishing it, sadly. And for the glaze. These are far from the best glaze I've ever had (Louisiana is sadly a very terrible place for donuts) but they are better than some of the other Louisiana donuts I've had. There was a good bit of flavor (though it seems the "buttery" side was a bit strong) and the glaze was well distributed, the bread was very well cooked and had a good fluff to it, it wasn't greasy or oily. All in all, I would go back for the glaze, and maybe try the non-jalapeno kolaches next time, those looked like they had a better bread to sausage ratio.

The whole store is ā€œcompanyā€ is highly unprofessional and isn’t up to code with their health inspection. I refuse to even go back for the simple fact of how they treat their employees and the fact that the store isn’t up to code and that the food isn’t the best. This is the last place I’d choose to dine in at. I’ve never met or been inside a company that was this unqualified and unprofessional. If you want to do something, either do it correctly or don’t...

Basic small town donut place with nothing special. Nothing at all like the pictures featured on here! I went on a Friday morning and there was only a couple choices of regular donuts or kolaches. Overpriced also. Donut & Apple fritter and a basic 16 oz coffee was $8. And my apple fritter was raw and dough like in the middle. I wish I had just kept driving to the Dunkin donuts 20 me down the highway. I wish I could get my money back cuz this...
