China Dragon buffet — Restaurant in Crowley

I wasn't expecting to have spectacular New York style Chinese food and I suppose that if you're from here and grew up here, this restaurant is what you're used to but I'm not. I paid $70 for something that would have cost me $35 at a mall. The pan fried dumplings were some of the worst I've ever had and I'm American Japanese. So bland. I ordered the sesame chicken which looked like a lunch portion. And the rice could have been more than two cups. The Curry Chicken was the worst one I have ever eaten. No sauce and it tasted like the curry powder wasn't dissolved so you were eating powder. Thankfully, I'm going to be able to fix that tomorrow with some S&B Curry. They charge you extra for everything, even condiments and the ones they give you are tiny. And the egg wonton soup. I don't even know what I was eating. I hope it doesn't give me food poisoning. Not worth the price for the portions or the taste. I gave them another chance after eating there once and living here for 7 years. I won't make that...

The owner was the WORST!! I order a Large & a Small container of Shrimp fried rice.. The rice was a dark yellow so I asked her why was it that color she sayed all restaurants serve it with yellow rice.. I told her I wanted it with white rice if looks could kill I would be dead!! She remade it then I asked for soy sauce & she gave me two pockets & made me paid for additional packs plus pay extra for white rice!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE PLACE OF BUSINESS & the rice...

An outstanding place to dine.The wife and I were treated with respect. The food was very good, many food items to choose. The waitress was very courteous and made sure we had everything we needed and returned a few times to see if we needed anything.We are from Mamou, about 40 miles from this restaurant and hopefully we will return to the China Dragon...
