I've been in Louisiana for a month now, meaning I've been missing my Mexican food. Decided to try this place out, awesome service where they made me feel right at home, but the food did not meet my expectations. The salsa for the chips were blend, but the chips were okay I guess. The house margarita was decent but needed a boost. Now the fajita platter was just disgusting. Bacon on the shrimp burnt from the outside yet cold from the inside, making the shrimp not fully grilled. The chicken was half cooked, had a tough chewy texture to it. Chorizo just made a mess out of everything, made the entire skillet greasy. Omg was it greasy. The beef meat was unusual, I couldn't tell what cut it was and it still contained so much fat on it. And the grease pretty much marinated the beef. $45 for a fajita platter for 2 and a margarita drink was roughly 20% over budgeted. Next time I'm craving Mexican, I believe my money will be best spent in Taco Bell...
Read moreGarbage restaurant. Food was disgusting, service was horrid and prices were ridiculous for the trash (where it belongs) received. The food tasted more like nasty blend of Italian/Mexican with the amount of oregano used. Being from a Latin American family I was not expecting it to be great, I never do with Mexican restaurants, but if you are claiming to be a Mexican restaurant serve something that tastes like Mexican food or even Tex-mex would be closer then the unpalatable swill we received. I heard they got better, but no not the case. Second and last time I waste money on this restaurant, even if I'm feeling lazy and really want some tamales. The pre-made ones from Sam's Club are better than yours. Wish I could give 0 stars. Worst restaurant in this town and that is...
Read moreJust passing through town and thought I stop to eat. I’m not sure how my lunch menu fajita’s went from the menu price of $14 to $22, but that what I paid, and didn’t change a single item. The salsa, I’m not so sure what’s going on there, but it taste as though you’re eating spoons full of garlic. The food was basic. I wanted to eat the street tacos but there was NO WAY I was paying $20 for three street tacos. That’s $7 per taco. I could get to Mexico and eat authentic for that price. As for customs service, I felt like I was being watch over as to catch me sneaking out without paying as opposed to servicing me. If coming back through, I would just stop at Taco Bell before...
