This was my 8th or more visit. Every time I previously visited I rated this 10 out of 10, sadly my recent visit didn't live up to my previous experiences. Previously I was welcomed in by numerous employees, it always felt more special than other places I frequent, however this visit there was no welcome, and the only thing said to me was, "what side?" And hearing my name when my food was brought out, not really speaking to me, just my name. I pray it was an off day. In visits past I was asked how everything was not long after receiving my food, no one asked, upon leaving I usually heard a "thanks & come again", just crickets. It was no more busy than I have experienced. Not sure if this off mood lessened the taste of the food, or if the food was not as good as before. I got the Philadelphia Lawyer and seasoned fries. I have had both before(I loved both) and they were both just okay this time. I will try again, but will not try those fries again, sesoning reminded me of Shonie's seasoning just dumped on top. Totally changed my mood for the day, previously I have driven from Erath to Crowley just for a burger and onion rings, hopefully my next experience doesn't compare to this past experience. I typically post on Facebook when I stop here and encourage others to stop by, if the next experience is like this last experience please understand I will no longer encourage people to stop in or bring friends with. Sure I am just one person, but you have to continue the levels that I know you are capable of. I should be by sometime mid month, my children are coming from out of state, they have heard me rave about this being the best burgers anywhere, I meant it, I really need you to continuing to be that for me and the people I love.
Praying for your...
Read moreI went thru the drive thru. Ordered the loaded potatoe skins. Ice cold and dry and shriveled up. All very young young people working. I said to the young lady honey my food is ice cold. She looked at me like I was crazy. Her response made no sense, "I mean". (She) then got (upset and offended) because I was dissatisfied. She quickly told me that she didnt do it. I said honey I never said you did this. Dont you think it would have been better for you to say Maime we are so sorry for your experience, let us make it right. Once again she looked at me as though I was crazy or I had done something wrong. The other girl said well what do you want us to do? What??? I said I would like fresh hot food. I just paid good money for good food, not what you handed me. She takes it back. I was given another exactly just the (same). I said this is ice cold and dry. Honestly, I believe it was what they just took back from me because it was quick. She said well this is all we have. It will be cold. Another girl came to the window and ask the girl who just told me this is how it will come if you want it? What??? She said quote we only have the old ones right now it will be 50 minutes for the fresh ones to come out. I immediately ask for my money back and then left. What has happened to PJ's customer service and their food. I quess this is the natural RESULT of having YOUNG young ladies to run, serve and represent your business. This is very sad and unfortunate, actually very...
Read moreFood was great. Atmosphere was great as well. Really like the new spot. Service for the most part was good, but had a pretty terrible experience with the older woman the staff referred to as “Ms. Kathy”. I ordered 2 of the frozen root beers thinking they were carbonated like a root beer icee not thinking it was uncarbonated homemade root beer. My mistake. So I politely asked Mrs. Kathy if we could exchange them for some diet cokes and even offered to pay since it was my mistake not theirs. She immediately got this annoyed look in her face and as she was fixing our new drinks she very rudely said “That’s HOMEMADE rootbeer” as if I was insulting her or something to which I responded “yes ma'am I understand It was a mistake on my part”. She then sarcastically said “That’s the type of thing you should ask”. I again apologized and said that I was sorry I didn’t think it was a big deal and she was very clearly upset by that and just gave me the stank eye as she walked away.
I used to work in a restaurant and that’s why I’m upset about this seemingly very small altercation if you can even call it that. That sort of attitude towards a paying customer who’s being as polite and reasonable as possible is unacceptable and Mrs. Cathy is clearly unfit to work in this type of environment if something so small can get under her skin the way this did. Ruined my experience here and left me with a sour taste in my mouth after having an otherwise great time here. Might be time to...
