Not all pizza is created equal. If you’re looking for outstanding pizza and friendly service, this place is an absolute must try! We couldn’t decide between 2 pizzas so we asked them for half of each, which they did. We got a half “Outlaw” and half “Southern Thing” which was the best combination of flavors in one meal. There’s a slight sweetness to the pizza and we couldn’t decide if it was the sauce or the dough, but either way, it was perfect. The crust was great and definitely not left behind. Everything was cooked perfectly and to be very honest, I cannot remember a time that I truly felt so passionate about Pizza. Seriously, it was that good. Jules, the bartender was also our server. She was very attentive and personable, and makes killer drinks from best I can tell. We didn’t realize they were closing, but they were apparently. At no time did anyone make us feel rushed or tell us they were closing. We just noticed it as we were leaving. This will be our ONLY place for Pizza moving forward. I cannot recommend this place more 10/10 for sure.

We're local and been to Crozet Pizza many times. Food and service were decent as always but on our bill there was a new "Disposable/Recycling 3%" charge added. For starters this is not a cheap pizza joint, for a large regular cheese with half pepperoni you're looking at $27 and $9 for a regular local draft beer or house glass of wine. For a business to add a "Disposable/Recycling" charge to the bill as a flat 3% percentage in my view is just flat wrong. In a world full of fees and transaction charges by large corporations, the last thing I need is my local small business pizza joint to jump right in. As a small business owner myself operational fees are the cost of doing business - don't pass those down to the consumer without warning when they get the bill. Won't be going back anytime soon, basically on principle. In an update to my review - it looks like the last owner response to any review was over a year ago now here. I'm reducing my review to 1 star. If you own a business and advertise on social media - please be engaged.

I grew up about 15 minutes from Crozet Pizza, so I've eaten here for more than 40 years. It amazes me the place has been around so long. This was my first visit in about 10 years, and the business has recently changed hands. I found the pizza still met my expectations, though I could taste a slight difference. The interior and service are quite different with a full bar, a take out register and a small stage for live music. I miss all the old photos and post cards (this pizza has even been to space!), but the change also seemed it could be good for the place and make it last another 40 years. It's an institution in Albemarle County, and Crozet is a neat little town. It is DEFINITELY worth a visit, even if you have to make the drive from Charlottesville or drop out of the mountain passes to get there.

I couldn't leave zero but unfortunately that's what they deserve! I just wanted to send out a warning to any families that decide to take their young children to Crozet Pizza. I've lived in Crozet since I was 3 and have been going to this establishment for quite a while and multiple times have been with my 2 and 1 year old, but never I have I ever had service quite as appalling as I did tonight. I arrived with a larger party around 5:45 pm so we had to wait for a table to open up which is perfectly fine. However as you can probably understand my 2 year old was getting a little antsy waiting but did just fine. When our table opened up we walked to our seats with the hostess and I informed her that we would need two highchairs. She didn't seem too thrilled about that but she got them. My 2 year old is not a fan of sitting in a high chair so when he saw them he got upset. Just a little whiny but nothing terrible, the hostess (who I've found out is one of the owners Colleen Alexander) proceeded to ask if he was going to be "an issue." I said, no why would he be an issue? She said she wanted to make sure he was going to calm down once we got settled. My husband asked her if Crozet Pizza was not a family friendly restaurant and she said, "no it is, it's just not screaming friendly." I told her even if he does scream its not going to be an issue. Our server was fine and the food was fine, but I won't be taking my family back there. My husband went back in to get her name and told her that it was unacceptable the way she talked to our family and she said," I just wanted to make sure you can control your kid." Then proceeded to tell him that he could leave. Clearly "family friendly" doesn't actually mean that for them its only for marketing. Its unfortunate that one of the owners would speak to their patrons that way, I'm sure my family is not the only one this has happened to, but it should...

No menu, must scan a QR code. I asked if they have "pink sweetener packets". The Server left to find out. The Manager came out and told me they don't have "the pink packets" and asked if I wanted real sugar. I explained I can't have sugar. So she quizzed me "Whats the problem with the blue packets?" My husband answered her "She doesn't like the taste of Equal." She said, "Well I use Splenda and I didn't know there is a difference between the pink and blue packets." I replied "blue is not as sweet. It takes 4 packets to get the sweetness of 1 pink one."

I am surprised I was QUIZZED about what sweetener I prefer. Maybe I should have asked, WHY don't you have thr pink packet!? So I asked for a Diet Coke. Server brought out a Coke Zero. Apparently, they do NOT have Diet Coke... only diet option is Coke Zero. 🤯 No straw.

I requested to see a menu. Server very reluctantly went to get me "the only menu in the place". The paper menu had gotten a lot of use. It was dog eared and very used. Might be a decent idea to laminate a clean one... that can be wiped off.

I requested a straw. They had them, but with no paper covering. I drank water because it is the only option they had that was tolerable (probably better anyway).

It was so exhausting just to place an order... its no surprise everything else was completely mediocre. Next time, we will get totinos pizza for $1.49.

I get that restaurants are taking measures to protect people from the current cold strain... BUT taking away a menu, straws, sweetener and something as common as Diet Coke is taking it too far. Menus can be laminated and disenfected. Seems we've forgotten that part of a quality experience is quality service and products we have...

I've been twice now and both times were a disappointment. First time, service was below par and pizza honestly wasn't very good (other local Cville pizza and chains all better than this pizza). Second time, today, was a TERRIBLE experience! When we arrived, we were told they couldn't handle a party of 18, and they acted like it was such a hassle. Then, we were told we couldn't push tables together for a larger party, and once we started ordering we were told we couldn't split up the checks even though we were 5 families sitting at 5 different tables, and that 18% gratuity would be enforced. They were not nice through all of this, and did not make an effort to make the experience better. If we would have walked in separately, and asked to be seated as 5 different parties, they would have treated us as such, but because we knew each other they wouldn't allow it, just so they could make their gratuity. It was so terrible. I've been a business manager and server before, I know how this works. Something so simple could have been resolved if they wanted to provide good customer service. It just requires effort and good character. Or at least an effort to make up for it and make it right!? As if that wasn't enough, the server sat down the pizza right in front of our 1 year old who grabbed the pan and burned his fingers. Goodness gracious. The entire family was upset and we most definitely will not be back!!! PS, 2nd time around pizza was slightly better but still not worth it. I'll save my gas and go to Dominos, or like, any other...
