Smoked delivered a good meal and decent prices (for most items)! We visited Smoked while in town visiting family. Our visit was on a weekend evening between 5 and 8pm, the establishment was not busy. Smoked is set up in a way that prefers you to order via their online App. This is a trend that I have noticed is gaining popularity in the restaurant scene. If you prefer not to use the app a staff member can still talk your order for you at the front desk. On this trip I ordered a customized burger with fries and a drink. The food did not take long at all from time of order to time it hit the table, and was hot and of good quality. Prices were about on par with expectations regarding the quality of the meal. As a side note, while reviewing the menu and deciding on what I was going to eat I noticed an option for 5 "jumbo" Chicken wings for $12. I am unsure how jumbo these wings are, as we did not order them, but I cannot imagine any wing is jumbo enough to warrant almost two and a half dollars per wing. Thankfully most of the menu items, in my opinion, are very reasonably priced with the exception to this anomaly. Overall when I find myself back in Crozet it is very likely I will end up back at Smoked at some point. The dining experience was perfectly average and with a mostly well priced menu there are still plenty of options to try out.

You know it is legit when you see and smell the smoke from the pits as you park! We had the Pick 3 meats and got smoked turkey, ribs, and pulled pork. We picked 3 sauces that were Carolina firewater (medium if you like spice), Honey red, and Spicy red (also medium to me- I like spice!). Additionally, we enjoyed the beans and the crinkle fries were killer!! No taps, but good selection of beer and wine. I enjoyed the fall off the bone ribs the most! The smoked turkey was also good. We’ve been in N. Carolina, so the pulled pork was good but a bit dry. The Carolina firewater was vinegar based, but not quite there. The 2 reds tasted good but a bit sweet to me. Still, I’d definitely eat here again: great food, good service, seating inside and out, and very clean. Some complain about prices. I look at it this way: restaurants have suffered with Covid and people have lost jobs. I’ll pay more for this great combo of food and service. Thanks SK&T!!

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch here. My wife had a smoked half chicken, and I had a two meat meal, turkey and pork. The meats were wonderfully and skillfully prepared, smoked to perfection. Mac and cheese, potato salad and baked bean sides all were top notch. Everything we were served showed the love in their kitchen. The real star? Their spectacular fried pickles. They start with their delicious house pickles, then bread and fry them. It's what real fried pickles are supposed to taste like, the best I've ever had. Their five house sauces are also great. We're hooked on their sweet Virginia blackberry sauce. We can't wait until we can go there again. This is some of the best BBQ in all of Virginia.

My wife and I had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner at the Smoked Rooftop. We cannot say enough about how great the entire staff was from the planning stages throughout the event. Kristen (Smoked's event coordinator) was extremely helpful and calm during the planning and even during the event day. Kristen arrived early, helped to set up, took in our cake and other desserts and made sure everything was set and ready to go before our guests arrived. She was very friendly and easy to work with. Also, the servers and bartenders during our dinner were all super friendly and helpful throughout service and cleanup. We really felt as if we were local, frequent customers even though we live in a different state! The food was outstanding. After sampling the food for lunch one fall afternoon, my wife and I were able to select two meats (their irresistible fried chicken and savory pulled pork) and several side dishes (we highly recommend their homemade creamed corn and roasted cauliflower) accompanied by rolls, cornbread, and a garden salad to provide to our Wedding rehearsal guests. I cannot tell you how many of our family members called us even weeks after the dinner to ask what the name of the restaurant was so that when they traveled back to the Crozet area, they could go for a lunch or dinner. Smoked was a complete hit! Whether it is to cater an event, host a party, or just for a meal, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND SMOKED for an all around fantastic experience!

Thank you all for a fantastic and memorable experience on the greatest weekend of our lives! Because of this event, Smoked has earned lifetime customers in my wife and I as well as several of our...

First time here, the place has a great vibe, tables inside and out, clean , open nice atmosphere. We ordered one of the burgers 1/2 lb with bacon, a pastrami sandwich, side of fries. The 1/2 lb burger was actually 2 thin Pattie’s that were smashed and well done, dry. The pickles were excellent and the bacon was also excellent. Overall though I wouldn’t order the burger if you like your burger thick and juicy. The fries were cold and under cooked which was a huge disappointment especially since they are an added charge. The coleslaw was perfect but the portion was too small. The pastrami sandwich was not at all what I expected. It was sliced into thick slabs between thick Texas toast type bread. The bread was soggy and very unappetizing , meat was too thick to eat in a sandwich. Better with a knife and a fork. It looked sloppy , fell apart and was difficult to eat. You take a bite and you have to use your hands to keep the entire slice of meat from coming out of the bread. I’m sure most customers like their pastrami sandwiches like this but all I could think about was how wonderful the sandwich would be on the right bread and sliced thin on a slicer. It also didn’t have any smokiness to it....
