It's only been open 3 days, so I expected there to be a lot of cars there for breakfast; but it's almost 9am and maybe it's not so bad. Looks like only 7 or 8 cars ahead of me, not wound around the building as I was expecting, so I go ahead and get in line. Y 'all, it took me 40 minutes to get my food. I'm not expecting it be move like Chik-Fil-A, but this was ridiculous for such a short line on the first weekday after opening. Some staff would have helped; there was a guy working the window and what appeared to be the owner working. I'm assuming there was someone in the kitchen, but it was not the typical staffing of a fast food restaurant. Then, to top it off, I get home and there are jalapenos in one of my biscuits. There's a limited time menu item for jalapeno biscuits, and that might have been fine for someone who likes jalapenos, but I HATE jalapenos. I have worked fast food before, and I know these aren't mixed in with regular biscuits; if I had to guess, they ran out of regular ones and grabbed one of these to keep me from waiting any longer. I went by to try the new place out and I'm not one to eat at the same place all the time, but once Chik-Fil-A opens back up I can't see any reason to ever grace that drive through again, unless I need something before 5:30am. The food definitely wasn't good enough to deal with that kind of wait time; the biscuits were dry, the chicken was... well, a chicken strip, nothing especially tasty about it. And while the honey butter is a nice touch, you can't eat it without it getting a sticky mess everywhere, so it's not a great selection for eating while you are on your...

Went through the drive-through at this location for the first time the other night. When I got to the ordering station the guy taking my order seemed nice but was asking me questions about my day and such. sure its nice, but I just want to order a burger. they took too long getting my order done. Then when I got to the window the guy asked me if i knew jesus. Just straight out of the gate without even taking my money. Personally i'm not a religious person, but i'm never judgemental of what others believe. That being said i also don't like when others force their religion onto me. I said no and gave the guy my money. He was younger looking with brown hair. Then He asked me if I wanted to know jesus while handing me my drink. I said no and tried to cut the conversation off. He then started saying a bunch of religious talk about how jesus still loved me when I was running and how he had a place for me in his heart. I just nodded along and said okay. Then when he was handing me my food he told me the combination of happy thanksgiving, merry christmas, and to end it off he told me that jesus loved me. I have been to other whataburgers in the state of alabama and have never seen anything like this. Again, I never hate on what others believe. But i also don't like when people shove their religion down my throat. To end off the night my fries were cold. The patty melt burger was pretty...

Ordered a double junior with no cheese and grilled onions, got a single with raw onions, advised the staff and they promptly made a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement, while it did have two burger patties, also had raw and grilled onions and double American cheese. I really hate American cheese product slices. I would have sent it back but by this time I was already late for my next appointment and the people I was with had almost finished their meal so I scraped off the cheese as best as I could and threw out the cheese coated bun.

Last time I went to this location I asked for a Jalapeño Cheddar sausage biscuit sandwich with no American cheese and was told the biscuits had cheese in it already. I said I understand it has cheddar baked in and I want that, just don’t put a slice of American on it. I got a plain biscuit…not sure why it is so difficult to get it right.

9/27/24 update: Ordered 2 kids meals and they forget the cookies. When brought to staff attention they promptly fixed. Food w came out hot, fries were great. If they could get the prefers fought the first time this would be a...

This is the S L O W E S T "fast" food restaurant in the world! Even better, they called me "gay"! Really! I visited this location's drive-thru on April 15, 2024 at 12:03. They asked for a name for the ticket, and I told them "Guy." I get to the window and I'm greeted by a gentleman that asked, "Is your name Gay?" Then he showed me the receipt. See the photos. And to confirm, my name is actually Cary, but you can't give this name to fast food workers, they hear "Larry," "Gary," "Terry," etc. and if they do hear the right name, they use a feminine spelling, like, "Keri," or "Carrie," etc. So, a long time ago, I just resolved to give a simple name that everyone could understand and spell correctly, "Guy." So, the question becomes, are the workers at this location to ignorant to properly spell "Guy"? Did they actually hear "Gay," through their janky speaker system, or are they just ignorant enough to legitimately think they could get away with calling a customer "gay"? This is not the end of this. As soon as I have time, this will be fully investigated in the near future. I still have the receipt to prove this happened.

I have always loved Whataburger and this one doesn’t disappoint . Ive visited about 12 times now and each visit was delightful. I usually get the patty melt which is fantabulous!!! I got the whatachicken sandwich recently because I had a reward for one, and it was great, as usual. I always order it spicy and it’s perfect! The Dr Pepper shake is phenomenal! I’ve had 6 of them. I love the spicy ketchup, and I usually don’t eat ketchup. Grand opening , they still had a few kinks to work out, and they have been diligent doing so. The food is top tier for fast food. The employees are all helpful and friendly. Lucas has gonna above and beyond with customer service, this is a fella who certainly has a bright future and this company is lucky to have him as a team member. He even remembered my name, during conversation about my points being added, and he wasn’t looking at any computer or receipt, he sincerely cares about the business and its patrons. Great job Whataburger Cullman!! Keep up the good work!
