I went with my kids and husband to check out the new expansion they had and we had a great time! The catfé was so cute! The kittens were so cute and the food was delicious, especially the themed-smoothies they had. I totally suggest going here to hang out and then going up to Miss Minerva’s after for lunch like we did!

Great place! New location! Hundred Acre Books has expanded into a larger space in the Culpeper State Theater building. (Free parking right across the street.) If you don't see what you want immediately, they will order it for you. And ship it directly to you. No need to stop back in. If you can't stop in, order from their website. The book will get to you. Consider Hundred Acre Books our local amazon.

Once you finish shopping, head upstairs to Miss Minerva's Tea Room. It has a full menu. And is a glorious place to start...

A must go if you’re in town — if you’re local, I’m jealous you get to go all the time! Adorable book store with a slight fantasy spotlight but honestly all kinds of fun books in there for all ages. I went looking for books and they really only had a display in the corner of about 20 books. There were some shoved behind the display, but not where you could see them.
