Here was my experience: I had been a loyal, repeat customer of this business. Yes, indeed, I had ordered and purchased a number of times before from here. Recently, I drove up through the drive through. A young Indian gentleman pulled open the drive through window and just looked at me with a blank stare and with no greeting whatsoever. After a few seconds of quiet awkwardness there, I gave a friendly smile and said, "Hello, yes, I would like to order... (I gave him my order). This young employee barely spoke to me. He turned to his register, rung in my order, turned towards me, and said just the price. I then handed him my credit card, he took it, charged my order, and gave my credit card back to me without giving me a receipt of any kind or even asking me if I wanted a receipt. The wait was kind of long after that. Next, I saw that he dropped my spoon on the floor, grabbed another spoon, and then handed me the open product (meaning no lid) which was smaller portioned than usual, semi-melted, and very soft. Then, as I was asking him for napkins because he did not give me any napkins, he, super quickly, turned away from me and walked away. I am certain he heard me as I was speaking loud enough, and he was just three feet away from me. The window then shut in my face. The outside ringer button was too far away for me to reach it, press it, and get his attention. I waited there in my car for about three minutes or so. He finally came back over, opened the window, and just gave a blank stare at me without speaking. I finally said, "Can I have some napkins please?" He quietly reached over grabbed two napkins and handed them to me without speaking. Then he continued to give a blank stare at me without speaking. At that moment, I drove off. So, so... what kind of rating should I give this experience on a one to five star? Should I recommend this place of business to anyone? I was nothing but nice to this young gentleman and that's how he treated me. I took my valuable time to type up this important review. Does anyone who owns this business care about this young man's treatment towards me? Hopefully they do, and they will reply with an apology to me for this very unpleasant visit. I will wait....
Read moreHershey's Ice Cream provided a delightful way to conclude a summer day. With both walk-up and drive-thru options, it offers a convenient experience for ice cream lovers. Their extensive flavor selection, along with a variety of toppings and cone options, caters to diverse tastes.
One standout flavor was the Butter Pecan, boasting an abundance of pecans and a rich buttery taste without artificial additives. It delivered a creamy texture and was perfectly complemented by a drizzle of caramel sauce. Additionally, the Cappuccino Crunch offered an exciting blend of textures, with its indulgent chocolate ribbons and satisfying toffee crunch.
Portion sizes at Hershey's Ice Cream were generous, ensuring great value for your money. The staff was courteous and efficient, ensuring prompt service. However, it's worth noting that the prices, while offering a novelty experience, might be relatively higher compared to purchasing Hershey's Ice Cream from local grocery stores.
Ultimately, Hershey's Ice Cream provides a special treat, best reserved for those special occasions when you're looking for a unique and indulgent ice...
Read moreLast straw for me this summer. They are lovely, and the treats are great - if they aren't always OUT OF IT or CLOSED! They used to be open over lunch, but then in early summer they started opening at 1. Um, really? ITS SUMMER! So no treat for me at lunch hour any more. Then I went at 1 and learned they didn't open until 2. 2 weeks later I go at 2 and they don't open until 3 - its on the sandwich sign, but the drive thru still says 2.
Today I went after dinner, and after waiting at the drive thru while the poor single person tried to manage the store alone, it turns out they were out of the first flavor of ice cream I wanted, then the second... but BOTH were still on ths sign, so I wasn't going to guess my way thru the entire menu. I'm sorry, but I just drove away - my lord, they have NO BUSINESS SENSE at all!
Went to the Creamery on Baltimore street (not the one on Harrison - they only have custard/soft serve) and got 2 pup cups and a double scoop in a waffle cone - less...
