I have been here twice now and truly enjoy the tour every time. The volunteers are very knowledgeable of the history of the house and also know a great deal about Cumberland during those historic times. The house is in excellent condition and always so pretty. We have been there in the summer and also at Christmas and I would have to say that the house is so beautiful when it is decorated for Christmas. It is always so interesting to hear how Cumberland was the "Queen City" and that it was the second largest city in Maryland, only smaller to Baltimore. I am a huge history buff and always want to know more about the house and always have questions and they are always answered by the volunteers. I would highly recommend going at least once when you will have time to truly look at everything possible. Not really sure what it would take to give a 5-star rating but...

I do not think she works over there anymore, but i still give it five stars because i live across the street. This is a gorgeous front yard. I met the gardener when i was visiting Brittany and we ended up on a mission where i got to wear a vintage glove while i rescued a baby bunny.
