Koury's Tavern — Restaurant in Cumberland

I recently had dinner at Koury’s Tavern and overall, the food was excellent. The steak and cheese egg rolls were flavorful, the honey garlic ranch pizza was excellent, and the strawberry Aperol spritz was refreshing . I can see why so many people rave about the food here.

That said, the service was definitely on the slower side. Our waitress was very friendly, but it seemed like she was the only one covering both the bar and the dining area. That’s a tough position to be in, and while I don’t blame her at all, it did affect the experience. We waited quite a while for things like napkins and plates, and the overall pace of service felt stretched thin.

It’s a nice spot and the staff seemed kind, but I think the experience would be a lot better with a few more people on the floor. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or just a busy night, but that was our experience. Still worth a try for the food, just go in with a...

There isn't many times that my wife and I get to go out for dinner. Koury's is really close to where we live. So this is the place we picked. Their selection of drinks was good. The menu didn't have a wide variety, but we expect that with a small place. We started with the fried pickles, I recommend sharing them. After a few they started to taste really strong. I had the chicken B.L.T.A., it was good, and I enjoyed it. My wife ordered the fish-n-chips. She said it was okay, because the bottom of the fried fish was a little soggy. My girlfriend and I stopped here last-minute for a quick meal and we were absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was! I've eaten in so many places around the world and the burger I ate here was top five of all time. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the cheese melted just right, the toppings were fresh, and it was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend got the fried chicken melt and absolutely loved it. The fries were fantastic and the drink selection was great too. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and brought samples of a couple drinks so we knew what to order. The only complaint we have is the lighting is really dim and it was a bit hard to read the menu or see each other. Overall, great experience and we can't wait...
