Pizza King — Restaurant in Cumberland

It was absolutely horrible!!!! Our "waitress" came over to get our drink order after being there for a few minutes. When others joined us, it took a solid 5 minutes for her to come back to take their drink order. We told her we needed a couple minutes to decide on food. She came back and asked if we were ready. While figuring out if everyone knew if they were ready, she started walking away. I then asked her for a refill and 2 others needed one too. She came back with everyone's refill, except mine. When I asked for mine, she took my fiancé's drink and handed it to me. Totally direspectful to both of us. I had to ask again for another refill (still haven't gotten my original one I asked for.) Meanwhile, we're still waiting to order our food. I stopped her and told her we were ready to order and that we tried to use the phone but no one answered. She said hang on and NEVER came back. We waited over 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Mind you, we had 2 kids at the table who were hungry. Someone else came to take our order. She came to check on us once. She checked on the other table by us multiple times. When our food finally came out, an hour later, my spaghetti was cold. I got it with Alfredo and it started separating already. When I told her I didn't want it because it was cold, she brought it back out... the same food, same plate, only reheated. That really set us off. When we went to go pay our bill, we split the check. Mine and my fiancé's check was correct but our friends check got rang in and they over charged us by 7 dollars! How do you make a mistake like that? Then, the guy started arguing with me and told me he couldn't have possibly rang it in wrong. He said our total was 36. When he swiped the card, he typed in 43. When I tried to tell him that, he pretty much blew it off and tried to walk away. Another guy came over and gave our friend the 6 and some change back. Absolutely horrible. I will NEVER return to this location. Service was rude, they overcharged, it was slow and allllll the tables were filthy! Do not waste your money here. Go to the other location...

Visited last Sunday. So very disappointed that we will NEVER order from this location again. It was closed for awhile & we had been ordering every weekend prior to the closing. Then noticed it reopened, "OUR YAY TURNED INTO A NAY"!! Ordered our usual order...lg sausage, pep, & mushroom pan pizza & 11" original sub. We live abt 6 miles from the location or I wld have taken ALL THE ORDER BACK!!! The pizza: Crust so thin our fingers poked holes in it trying to hold a peice, didn't have to worry abt the cheese or toppings falling thru the holes as the cheese was sparse, so little pep that u really felt u were eating a lightly topped cheese pizza!! They forgot the sausage & mushrooms totally FORGOT!! Sad but true, seriously! The original sub: Was used to the loaded ham, cheese, & pizza sauce...NOT....the ham was somehow pushed to outer edge of the sub bun not to mention the sub bun was overbaked, crunchy, crunchy, crunchy...really not even edible, the ham was burnt as it was hanging out of the edge of the sub bun, very little cheese, very little pizza sauce. Very, very dry!!! I asked for 2 sides of banana peppers...99 cents each but...cashier had problems on register & who I'm guessing was a Mgr. tld cashier to charge 70 cents each...guess that was a 60 cent savings. I did not even give a 2nd thought to checking my carry-out order as we were elated w/our usual order in the past. I am giving this location 1star because the staff were polite.....the 38.00 order was a great meal for our dogs. So saddened ur food is no longer exactly the same as the Pizza King in Rushville, IN. I cld have called & complained when I got home & saw all the mistakes, lack of toppings, burnt sub but....was so upset I knew I would not handle it well so final decision is: Good Luck w/ur Pizza King & I hope it improves. Best pizza in the midwest. The staff from the General Manager to the newest employee is full of talented, friendly, and kind people. If your a Hoosier and you haven't tried Pizza King you're pretty much telling me you haven't done anything with your life. This is the Hoosier pizza and it's been one of the best pizza places in the midwest. If you are coming to Indiana one of your stops has to be A Pizza King. If your going to go to any of the Pizza Kings you should go to this on. I am only saying this if you actually care about having a good life. If you want to live your whole life wondering why you didn't try one of the best pizza places in America then don't go. You could just go to Pizza Hut and cry all night because you chose an inferior pizza place. You could plan a movie night with your new girlfriend and get some other pizza place .... But don't get mad when she breaks up with you because she says only losers don't eat Pizza King ... You could make your whole family feel like they aren't loved because you went and bought Domino's Pizza instead of the best pizza that you could possibly get which is Pizza King... You could wast your money and buy a pizza from the store..... But we all know no matter how cheap it is it will never come close to Pizza King..... The food should come with warning signs that say "Watch out if this is the first time eating Pizza King. Your taste buds might explode with delicious pizza."......You want to know why the colts are not allowed to eat Pizza King before the game???????
