First time to try Freddy's. Somewhat pricey, custard is good, burgers ok, if you dont have any problems. Managers explanation for 3 mistakes..... "They don't know any better".... WOW! We received 2 of 3 burgers incorrectly made of which we made no complaint (hind site we should have) . But then when an order of two custard dishes were botched we attempted to have it corrected. We soon found the next 4 employees we spoke with, including the shift manager, were not empowered to correct a simple ice cream cone mistake. We were given a $3.99 concoction that was totally inedible instead of the $2.69 small cone that we ordered. After they were totally clueless in regard to providing me the correct order and refunding the difference I asked to speak to a manger who could simply refund my $3.99 for the inedible custard which was missing only a couple of bites ..... you would have thought I was requesting that they solve the national debt. An act of congress would have been simpler. After a totally nightmarish experience I finally received a refund. Having now dealt with 5 people including a shift manager and store manager....none, zero, nada offered an apology. In fact each of their demeanor insinuated it was in fact our fault..... i know this place is new but there is clearly a major training shortcoming in regard to customer handling....or perhaps the managers attitude has rolled downhill to the intimadated acting employees. Note to Owner: for long term success consider a manager that empowers their people to resolve customer problems at the point of sale........ the atmosphere of the restaurant exudes friendleness and that of being a happy place... your people have to mirror that. Good luck but as for me one star is appropriate until some major changes in customer...

Read moreI took my family here for lunch last weekend. We got:
Freddy's Original Double Combo (fries and drink): Large pickles, melty cheese, no soak-through on bun, patties were appropriately sized and seasoned, held together well. Fries were nice and crisp. This classic combo never disappoints me.
All-beef hotdog with mustard: Large, girthy hot dog with a bold flavor (definitely an all-beef dog) I kept mine simple with just mustard, but additional fixings are available at the drink counter (mustard, ketchup, relish, mayo). The bun was also evenly toasted which brings it all together. A delicious, quick snack.
3-piece chicken tender combo (subbed in cheese curds and a drink): the chicken tenders were crispy and juicy, well seasoned. They come with a choice of dipping sauces. We chose ranch. The cheese curds were also delicious. They were crunchy on the outside, and soft/gooey on the inside.
All food came out hot and fresh.
The service was kind and friendly. The line moved quickly. There were three orders ahead of us, and we barely waited 5 minutes to order. The atmosphere is casual, family friendly, and clean.
The company has an interesting origin story and history. You can read about some of that inside the restaurant or website.
We will be back to try the frozen custard.
I highly recommend trying this place out. Although it is very similar to Culvers (steak burgers, cheese curds, frozen custard, etc) it's still worth...
