Just had the worst experience possible today in this restaurant.
The waitress not only didn’t understand English well, but she was very impatient and acted like she didn’t like us. We came inside to eat but decided to take it to go, she didn’t understand that and brought the food to the table. When the food arrived we said it was To go for the second time(she made a face turned around and nodded her head) then she brought the bill for $40 and I gave her my card , when she brought it back with the receipt, luckily I checked it and saw that she charged $178 instead of $40. I brought the receipt to her she looked at it and said Oh my God (but didn’t apologize) then reversed the transition brought the new receipt and sorry, thank you.
Maybe she was having a bad day we thought, however minutes later another couple came in and she greeted them with a smiled. While barely looking at us.
When we got home we were missing 1 side of rice, 1 side of beans and the fajita’s that were supposed to have chicken and steak had only chicken. To be honest we had brought in a snack for our son, who never eats due to food allergies, along with my wife who has an autoimmune and risked eating out this one time with specific instructions of Ingredients she is allergic to. We have no idea what triggered the waitress, but from the looks of it , it might have been the snack we brought in a disposable snack bag for our son… makes no sense , we are still puzzled at such behavior… even if this was the case , my wife said that we brought it in because our son is allergic. I guess our hearts goes to people who never has the time to eat out , or eats out as a treat for one reason or another like our reason being food restrictions and it is received and treated badly for no obvious reason. Also, the food was horrible, whatever it was we got , the worse chicken fajita we ever had… it was a holiday and supposedly restaurants are packed , this one wasn’t and now we know why.
Just overall very bad experience and we won’t be...
Read moreBy far the worst excuse for Mexican food I have ever had. This was our first time ordering here and we only did it because we were shopping at Publix so it was convenient to pick up afterwards. When we showed up our order was ready. The host went to get someone to take payment. After 5 minutes of just staring at our food someone finally came up with 2 other Togo orders. So instead of taking care of the customer whose food was ready and getting cold, they were packaging up other orders (understandable but still frustrating). We ordered queso fundio, pollo asado, and the Laredo’s chicken quesadilla. First thing we try when we get home is the salsa. Absolutely horrendous. Then we try our queso fundido, which by this point is in brick form, not satisfied. So we try to warm it up and it’s stringy. No matter how hot we get it, it doesn’t turn back into liquid form. Then I try the pollo asado. This is basically a chicken breast that has been flattened and grilled until all the juices are gone. From my experience it is supposed to be an extremely flavorful, extremely juicy thin piece of meat. There is no seasoning to be found on this piece of meat whatsoever. And did I mention the rice? Oh my, it’s white rice with corn and green beans in it. Never ran across that at a Mexican restaurant before. Luckily my wife enjoyed the quesadilla, and that’s the only reason I am giving 2 stars...
Read moreWe are regulars at this restaurant and the last time we came we got treated HORRIBLY!!!!!!!!! To start off, the server was extremely rude. After not attending to us the entire time, she came and dropped our check off while we were still drinking our drinks. We proceeded to pay and tip her 20%. She then came and grabbed the check after we signed it, and commented on the tip in front of us. She shook her head, and acted like we should’ve given her more. I tip according to my service, and she did not exceed a 20% tip. As we were finishing our drinks, after that comment was made, they were starting to close the restaurant. Online it says they close at 10:30, this was around 9:45. One of the workers sweeping the restaurant saw chips on the ground, and started to blame us and shame us as though we threw the chips on the ground. It was then around 10:10, and we had a few sips of our drinks left and they kicked us out. They turned the lights off on us, and told us they were closed so it was time to go. NEVER...
