Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Cushing

I've been eating the "pecan caramel fudge" sundaes (aka "turtle" sundaes) for years but every single time I go to this braums they are so stingy with the toppings! So many times I'm frustrated at paying extra for a "specialty" sundae and ending up long after there is no more fudge or caramel in the bowl, just ending up with a bowl of vanilla ice cream. I've gotten to the point of paying extra for "extra hot fudge" but shouldn't have to do that. Today was just too much. One side of the double sundaes had hot fudge (no caramel in sight at all) and the other entire side just vanilla ice cream. I ended up just handing it back and asking for a refund. The ASSISTANT manager, Denver (he told me he was THE manager) came angry to the window from the start and informed me that there was actually quite a lot of hot fudge and pointed to the middle and one side "see there, there and there" . I asked him about the OTHER side with zero topping but he never responded to that . I asked him about the caramel and he said "I see a little bit right there on top". Lol. I think he made my point. Obviously, he needs a training class on dealing with unhappy customers. If you're wanting a CONSISTENT product, don't go there. I went down the street and got a Sonic blast. Perfect evert time. We will not be returning to the Cushing Braums. Not even because of their inconsistencies with the toppings but because of ASSISTANT manager, DENVER. Dude needs some...

The last couple of times we have gone the service has been slow. The inside seating area is rarely clean. Or if we go thru the drive thru stuff has been left off of our order. Today was the last straw for me with Braums in Cushing. Went thru the drive thru got half of our order. Then I was asked to pull forward. I pulled up and sat for 10 minutes. The guy who brought our food out kinda "flung it" up at me. I said "thank you" he just laughed and said "whatever lady". I did not appreciate that at all. So I parked my truck and went to speak to the manager. Well, the guy who flung the food is the manager on duty. I said I did not appreciate the service I had received. That if he was having a bad day he should go home. He said his name is Derrick and the manager. Then told me to get out of his store. What has happened to...

This is the essential Cushing restaurant and store where everyone likes to go from time to time, and have for many years. Without a Braum’s, you don’t really have an affordable eating place with an impressive range of available items. The complaints listed on here may be legitimate, but the lion’s share of those people I guarantee will be back at a Braum’s sometime in the near future. Have I ever had a negative experience at a Braum’s? Oh, absolutely, as I am in my late 30s and have come here many times, through the good and not-so-good eras.
