Update: I should’ve listened to myself and not come back! We knew they’d be busy on Mother’s Day during the pandemic, so we placed an online order at 4:30 for 5:30 pickup. Arrive 5:35 to find the parking lot packed, people lined up around the building, and no one providing directions. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes they tell me they are 1.5 hours behind and have no idea how long I’d have to wait. Wished them the best of luck and left. Let me know when there’s new management. One of my favorite childhood restaurants is now off the list 😢
Review from 3 years ago: Hadn't gone here in years because they didn't offer call ahead or reservations. They now offer both so our party of 7 had a 5:30 reservation for Saturday night. We were seated by 5:35. The food was typical and good--not great seafood by any means though. The biggest problem was waiting over 1.5 hours for our food! We heard other tables waiting 1-2 hours as well. The server wasn't completely inattentive but definitely below average. We had to ask for the missing 4 silverware/napkin sets; had to ask for refills, even on water; only half the salad items came out at salad time (which was at least an hour). The biscuits came out after the salads. As for the actual food...The ultimate feast came without the tools to open the crab legs (snapper and small fork) and was missing the butter for the lobster. (The manager noticed this and was obviously upset our food came out like this and immediately fixed it). Another meal was salmon which was almost raw as well as the broccoli (did they just forget to cook the whole plate?). A third entree was steak which was ordered medium well and came out very well done. The kids meals were good and kids smoothies are a fantastic price. All in all we could've eaten much quicker (total trip was over 2 hours) and gotten much better food elsewhere. Probably won't go back for a long time, if ever, to...

This place had supposedly been risen from the dead, but at least this location is light years from being a quality place to dine.
The service:
We had a fairly large party of 14 people and only one server, so I understand that we needed to be patient. However, we were there for over an hour before our order was taken. Our salads and appetizers took another 1/2 hour to come out, and food about another 45 minutes after that. Our reservations were at 6pm. They were closing by the time we got our bill.
The food:
While waiting an extended amount of time for the food to come out, a large portion of the party excused themselves from the table for a bit and weren’t there when the food was delivered. Hence, all crab legs were cold by the time they sat down (which was only a few minutes later). But was inexcusable was that everything else was cold. How do we wait over an hour for food to be served cold pasta, cold shrimp (that was not cocktail)? I ordered the lobster pappardelle and it appeared as if they dumped the liquid from the asparagus on top which made the entire dish watered down and disgusting. My daughter was served only portions of her meal (they brought her sides out first and her shrimp wasn’t brought out until everyone else was finished with their meals.
The resolution:
After getting up to find our waitress on three separate occasions because things were taking entirely too long, I gave up and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to her the situation, and she made a few adjustments to our bill. Although it was a nice gesture, it was no where near enough to compensate us for the horrible experience we had at this location.
Also would like to note that it took another 40 minutes for us to get our bill. Although I would never do this, I can absolutely understand why people are tempted to leave...
Read moreWe had the craziest service we’ve ever had tonight. We had to wait for a table and the hostess kept calling names that were not there. There was almost no one sitting in the restaurant and a waitress came up to see what was going on because the lobby was packed and all the tables were empty. I have no idea what happened but they just decided their whole list was broken and started haphazardly seating everyone that was in the lobby at one time without trying to ask who had been waiting. (We all had text messages that we checked in so I would have thought they would have just started asking for people that had been waiting an hour, then a half hour, etc. We were finally seated and ordered drinks and an appetizer. We waited 45 minutes and the appetizer finally came and I asked the person from the kitchen that brought it if there was a manager available. I told him I didn’t want to be difficult but that we had been waiting for our drinks for 45 minutes and our appetizer just came but we still hadn’t seen a server for our drinks or silverware. He didn’t apologize or say he would find out what was going on. He just made excuses that she was really busy and she would get to it when she could and said we didn’t have to pay for the drinks. (We got water). He also had on a beanie which seemed unnecessary for a food service manager. We eventually got to order and got food but the lobster was dry and overcooked and we were missing a couple things. I didn’t complain about the food or the wait or anything and was VERY nice and polite when asking about getting our waters. It was just such a crazy and miserable couple hours. They were nice but all seemed like it was their first day and had no leadership and it was really sad to see how bad...
