Poke & Roll — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

I've only been there twice; one time the first week they opened and one time just recently. Both times, the staff were friendly and while it was a slow hour this last time, the atmosphere was good with nice music.

My main two complaints are that it seems like they run out of things a lot, which wasn't too much of an issue since the staff were quick to recommend alternatives and I was able to try something new. The second complaint is that their rice tastes and feels a little different from what I'm used to. I'm not sure if it's overcooked or if there's just too much water, but it ends up sticking together a little too much and seeming a little too soft compared to a lot of sushi rice I've had. It isn't terrible or inedible, but it is probably my biggest complaint and the main reason for only four stars instead of five.

Other than that, I had some boba the first time I was there and it was great! They were very helpful with suggesting a flavor my mom would like since it was her first time getting boba. The food is also pretty good once you get past the rice, I really like their spicy bowls and they go really heavy on the furikake, which I love since a lot of places go kind of light on it. I haven't had any of their sushi burritos but I plan to try one out some time when I get the chance to go back. The price was pretty standard for poke, I would expect to spent between $10-15 per bowl.

Ordered $60 worth of food for my family for pickup up a little more than an hour before closing yesterday. Ten minutes before the food was supposed to be picked up, they cancelled our order without reason. When we called to see why, the person who answered snidely said they 'were suddenly slammed with 45 orders and ran out of rice'. I asked when I would be refunded and they said it would be a few minutes, as my payment was already processed on their end. I called back when the money was not returned an hour later but they did not answer. They still haven't refunded me, and we had to eat cereal at home. I called the bank this morning and they said there was no refund initiated. We are a family of four and on a budget, ordering take out is a luxury we don't often get to indulge in and with me being six months pregnant, this experience ruined our night. If you're out of product, don't take the order! And if you cancel, give people their money back. I had to open a case against them with my bank to have my money returned. We will not be giving them another try in the future due to their poor handling of this situation. Edit: they also have their Facebook locked from posting negative reviews, pictured below.

Edit #2: it is now Tuesday and they have charged me a second time for disputing the charge with my bank on Sunday! I was told that because this is a merchant issue, I have to wait 3-5 days for a resolution. This...

The first couple times I went it was absolutely amazing and the women there made my bowl perfect, but I went in a few days ago and the white lady with blue hair made my bowl and left me VERY unsatisfied. Usually my bowl is filled up to the top and I can save some for later but when she made my bowl it was only filled up half way( I finished it within 10 minutes) I added avacado in my bowl and literally only got 5 small pieces. If anyone other than that lady makes your bowl or roll then I’d say it’s worth your money but paying almost 20 for my order isn’t worth a salad sprinkled with fake crab.
