I ordered the Leonos spinach pizza with sausage added to half. There was not much sauce on the pizza, and I couldn't determine if it was house-made. Based on its smooth consistency and sweeter taste, I would guess it was not. The spinach was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. The sausage did not appear to be house-made either, resembling the sausage found in a Tostitos pizza. The thin crust was crispy, though I personally prefer it slightly more charred. The tomatoes lacked the robust, acidic flavor typical for this time of year. Pricing was average. The restaurant was meticulously clean, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. There were a few games for the kids and an expensive jukebox.

We rented an airbnb in the area & after reading the reviews decided to go. The pizza was not bad but nothing to write home about as the reviews indicated. It was reminiscent of "school pizza" which was a childhood favorite. Pro: Pizza was hot and fresh. Added value: GPS clunked out and Rachel gave me directions which was nice. Randa was our waitress & although for "other" reasons we decided to get our food to go rather than dine in she was very pleasant. I appreciated this. Covid precautions: If masks and social distancing are necessary for you, neither was exercised by patrons or staff. If in the area give it a whirl!

Great food! I ordered a 10” pepperoni & ham, and a spaghetti. The pizza. Great crust, no flop, crispy. Not greasy, fresh mozzarella cheese, and the toppings were evenly distributed and not too heavy or too light. Overall I give their pizza a solid 8.3. The spaghetti. Homemade sauce, chunky tomatoes, the right amount of spice, and wonderful breadsticks and garlic butter that come with the meal. Overall I give it a 9.0. The atmosphere was very family friendly, the place was packed at lunch time, staff was very friendly, an overall great experience!

It pains me to have to give Leonos a single star. As I grew up in Cynthiana and have gone there a handful of time over the years. They usually have good service and food. We relocated a few years ago. But happened to be in town recently and decided to dine at Leonos. What a mistake.

First of all. The waitresses are teenage girls. And that day, they didn't seem to care a bit about the customers. At least not us. When the drinks arrived, one was spilled all over my daughter. The food took longer than usual to arrive. And it had zero flavor, which surprised me. My plate smelled horrible like it had been washed in week old dishwater. I had trouble eating because of it. They botched up the order and my son didn't even receive his plate until we complained. Even then. It didn't arrive until everyone was finished eating. We complained a total of three times during our visit. I suspected the manager wasn't in. But turns out she was.

I don't know what has happened there. But we won't be eating there any more. Not after this mishap. And I certainly will not after being served food on a very dirty plate. That shouldn't happen anywhere. Not even...

Absolutely LOVE the food but it is expensive compared to other pizza places. It's $20.25 plus tax for a 3 topping pizza and they have very limited menu options especially with appetizers.. You can't order online so you have to wait until phone line isn't busy and they don't deliver "just outside" of the city limits= TOTAL from restaurant to home exactly 6 miles but won't deliver here....hummmmm.... but PaPa Johns and Snappy Tomatoes does and they are in the same vicinity??? Therefore THEY get the extra approx. $1200 per yr. from our ordering out/roughly $100 a month (not to mention how many others feel the same way and go else where = lose of business for Leono's). Love the pizza but not worth the extra effort & $ put out by the customer instead of the company :( If you are looking to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE to dine..... awesome and convenient but as for relaxing at home or being STUCK at home due to Covid 19.... sorry Leono's rates a 2 out of 10 (convenience and variety is just as important as a good pizza), time to catch up with the...

If this is one of the better places for pizza in Cynthiana, I feel sorry for the populous, I may be some what jaded with my opinion of pizza having lived in New Jersey and having access to some really great places for pizza. The people were great, place was clean, smelled delicious when we walked in. But this was not what I would consider great pizza, fresh dough would be where it should all start, this was not the case here. I feel the dough was something you would take out of a freezer and run through a conveyer type of oven, to sell good pizza you must make your own dough and make it in a pizza oven, I don’t want to make it sound bad, but maybe I have to high of a standard for pizza, crust was similar to what I would call a saltine cracker. This is not to besmirch this establishment in anyway, this is just my review of what I experienced, I would love to go back and try other items on the menu, maybe they will be better than the pizza. This is my honest review, not meant to criticize...
