Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Cypress

Nothing to brag about here, except maybe the new style tacitly.

Food was average at best. Layout of the place was very nice and set up well. Like the “bar” style seating with the charging stations.

Kind of disappointed with the overall cleanliness. Sad that it’s still fairly new, but the upkeep of it is a little lacking. Dirty pans on display behind the register, chunks of pickles on the floor and most of the workers wearing dirty bleach stained t-shirts. Maybe some aprons or something would be appropriate when working the kitchen.

If you’re looking for an average meal and a decent price, and can accept the sub par cleanliness, then this is a great option. Otherwise, there’s much better...

EWW! EWW! EWW! MAKE THE DRIVE TO THE SKINNER LOCATION NOT THIS ONE!!!! The food was disgusting and even worse customer service. The bread wasnt even crispy and tasted stale because it crumbled. It was thick as a loaf. The reviews are correct.The Asian guy is rude. I ordered from this location by mistake. I cld and asked if I would cancel . Instead he replies WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT AND WE MADE A CUSTOM SANDWICH AND NO ONE WILL BUY THIS. YOU HAVE TO SEE WHERE IM COMING FROM. OMG I'm a customer but he was right because he didnt want to lose $7. I did make the mistake and drove there and was ok with that. HOWEVER to give me nasty food was the issue. Was told it was too difficult to put dressing on half the sandwich. 1 person at drive thru in front of us took 5 minutes to take his order. Off to a bad Start. Sorry Karl. Looks like the first day pep has gone flat

Fast forward to 3/6/2024 Service has improved. Still kinda dirty, sandwhich was tasty and since no one else sells sandwiches like this, then I want to have one nearby, even if the staff is subpar......
