After 25 years of being in business I know they have changed owners in the past couple years but that's no reason to be argumentative with your regular customers I haven't gone to his place constantly for lunch specials on their counter they have a lunch carry-out special we just comes what you asked with I called in today and ordered a lunch special carry out the gentleman asking me you pick up or you deliver I said I'm coming to carry out I want to carry out lunch special he asked me if I wanted chicken fried rice an egg roll I said just the carry out lunch specia he said it comes with it I said okay give me chicken fried rice and egg roll he gave me a total of $15.35 when he told me the total I said this is only for it to lunch specials he said yes okay I'll be there he said 10 minutes I go to pick up in 10 minutes on the counter shows you lunch specials $5.75 carryout only combination lunch specials $7.95 I told him this is what I ordered why do you charge me a different price you don't have this no more he very argumentative he said you order combination lunch specials I said no sir I did not he wanted to argue over a lunch meal and I said it's fine I'll pay it I won't come back again he wanted to take the food in the back he was going to take the rice out in the egg roll out and give me a half a portion which I didn't want so we got home and we open our boxes up there is very very little rice and the food was not cooked up to par like they always have done over the years I think this place needs help either the new management or the new owner does not care about the neighborhood that keep it in business I'm giving it to Star because all the arguing the guy wanted to do at the counter for no reason and raising his voice at a customer I've always been told a customer is always right and the food is not like it used to be I hope this place changes before they lose all their regular customers we have kept this place in business as people of Dalecity I hope they don't go out of business like the last couple of small businesses have done in Dale City they will be missed but not from arguing from the quality of food that...

Customer service has worsened over the years!! My family and I used to order here all the time, but lately the customer service standards have lowered. Ordered an hour before closing time(live about 5 minutes away) and 10 minutes after the delivery time I called the restaurant for an update, only to be told they’ll check on our order and “call me back”, they never did. Thankfully, someone eventually took the dog out and found the food just sitting on the ground. No knock, no call, nothing. Even worse, an item was missing. I decided to call the next day as this was a bit ridiculous considering everything, only to be non stop questioned and told “the item was in the bag, just watched the security video, it was in the bag”. Unless the delivery driver is stealing food, it wasn’t in the bag. Trying to request a refund for the missing item, I was just cut off and told to come pick up the missing item, which I did. I would like to start by saying, “What Happened to the customer is always right.”(especially about my food) I ordered shrimp egg foo young with jumbo shrimp, hot and sour soup with extra tofu, beef lo mein, and chicken wings = $60.34. Every last dish was unseasoned, I called back the following morning explaining how I still had my dinner, and that it was unseasoned. Which started a little back and forth conversation. He explained to me that they don’t put any seasoning in the egg foo young , everything else was seasoned. Which is incorrect, and the cook should know most people prefer a little salt & pepper on eggs. So to me it says it all, this is a mild or spicy Chinese spot. No skill needed.
